Sorry to hear you got booked Geea. You must be a sweet talker to get away with 10ks? Lucky it wasn't a speed camera!! You would of lost your licence for sure.

Always the way though, just when you decide it maybe safe and give it a little squirt there is some pig hiding just to catch you.

I gave my T a squirt down the Sth Gippsland Hwy just before Grantville and just as I go and put my lead foot down and reach 140k, I see a Blueprint XR8 on the otherside of the hwy, pulled someone over. Lucky he didn't get me.. So goes to show, they are always there when you want to feel the power of speed.

How can you find out how many points are left on your licence (in NSW)? Over the years I have lost a few but have no idea how long it takes to get your points back etc.

Do they have a website where you can check?

You get a nice little letter here in the sunshine state, something to the effect of:

"Thanks mate, you're fantastic, we really appreciate the amount of revenue that you have given us - and by the way you only have four points left."

But you should be able to check with the transport office, RTA or whatever you guys refer to it as. Qld Transport do it over-the-counter up here (along with the old b**ch behind the desk looking over the top of her glasses at you with the look of disgust)

Why not ring up the RTA itself and ask them...they'll tell you.
