Just got my renewal in the mail last night and thought it might be interesting to compare the states.

In ACT it is $746.45 :spoton: , actual rego component is $329, Compulsary Third Party Insurance is $399.45, Road Rescue Fee is $16 and Road Safety Contribution is $2.

In ACT you can also pay for periods of 3 or 6 months, $212.35 and $398.95.

This is for a privately used sedan, business and commercial vehicles are more.

$560 here in WA for the GT.

The T was about the same from memory, a little cheaper maybe.

ACT commercial vehicle rego (my XB) would be nudging 1K I reckon!

The ONLY good thing about ACT is that you dont have to have them registered continuously.... as long as it isnt expired for longer than 12 months, no vehicle inspection is required! Makes owning 4 cars a lot more cheaper! I just rego the XC and the XB for 3 months every 12 months, and all is rosy..... I am just praying the govment keep it that way, or else I might have to stop drinking... :punchhead: :spoton:
