In-car Gps
I bought my Navman F20 at Chrissy time. I reckon for the money, you just can't go past it. I got over the Tom Tom cause it had the nearest servo/carpark feature. The F40 IMO, was a waste of money, as I already have MP3 players and cameras. 1 tip: don't turn exactly when it tells you, just use your eyes and common sense. It always seems to be about 20metres out.

Elite Auto Dyno Day 16th June Photos And Results Link Added.
Are you talking about Tony (Bandana Man) and Deb? His XR8 is very nice (for something with 8 cylinders).

4 speed. That's why I'm going to be taking it easy until I can at least get a tranny cooler put in.

314.8rwkw It's About Time
Is that 332.0rwkw or 332.1? I'm just happy I haven't fried my box yet.

Gt 40th Annerversary?
The 7 we were allocated sold within a week. We still have people asking us to "lose an order", and offering up to $15k over retail for them. I don't think they will be as valueable as what is "supposed" to be released later this year. But only time will tell.

Poor Bugger...............
What a frightening experience that must have been. Do you think he will make his delivery to Texas in time????

Trading Up To F6 Tornado
I wouldn't mind a shot at the title. A new 07 F6 Tornado should set you back around $54k (off the top of my head), maybe less. Let me know if I can help. Cheers, Paul.

314.8rwkw It's About Time
The list is as follows: CAPA Edit & custom tune, Siemens Deka 60lb inj, SS CAI, Walbro in-tank pump,F6 springs, PWR cooler, custom 4" dump & cat + twin 2.5" Redback from cat back. That's motor mods. Exterior is just Kings SL's all round, DBA 4000 series slotted & X-drilled rotors, QFM pads, braided lines and for show 20" IB Racing chromies. I think that's enough. The wallet is sore.

Hi Mika, the drive home was good. I didn't know these things could do only 60kmh! You learn something every day.

314.8rwkw It's About Time
Finally I have cracked that "elusive" 300rwkw barrier. It has taken some patience and penny saving but it was worth the wait. I would be the only person in Brisvegas ATM to say "what a shame it's raining".

Price Of A New Bf 2 Turbo Ute
I have in my possession a 07 XR6 Turbo ute in Winter White, Luxury interior pack, 6 speed auto, colour coded hard lid, tow bar and spoiler for about $45k if that helps.

Price Of A New Bf 2 Turbo Ute
The problem for us is that there are no bonuses on 07 utes, let alone SVP's, and the ABN/BFP bonus is only $500. $40k on road seems about right. What options have you included in that figure?

Should Yellow Be Excluded From The Colour Spectrum?
They don't call it RAPID for nothing. Now back under your rock Wes.

Rear Power Windows
Actually mate, the bill for fitting the rear power windows to one of these cars is $1048 inc GST. That is using genuine parts too. Where did you get $4-5k from? The $1000 is for customer inconvenience, as they were mis-built. That is why there are a few around dealerships ATM, cause people that ordered them are pulling out. Any further discounting is between the customer and dealer.
-
Rear Power Windows
Yep, mis-builds from the Factory. There is a $1000 rebate for people that have ordered theirs and it has turned up with manual windows. Having said that, you can have power windows installed using genuine parts for about $1k too.

Brake Lines
The trick is, that no-one has made a kit for the BF yet. PBR have one in the pipeline, but not sure how far away it is. The price Steve has got is for a custom job. I have just fitted braided lines to my BA, and the pedal feel is much better, but I also didn't want to take the chance of line fracture/blister during heavy/repeated applications on track days. Admitadly, it was a lot cheaper, but when you are talking custom anything, the price just skyrockets.

Random Picture Post Thread.
Dags, you had me up to and including the black Benz. But then I just lost it. There is something about pigtails and tartan.........

Changing The Wastegate Actuator
Not sure, as every car will handle the mod's you do differntly. Mine is going next week to have this mod done, as it likes to dump the boost at 16psi. Am currently at 288rwkw. Nothing more frustrating than giving it half a bootful, and copping a wave of surging instead of frying the tyres. When you put it alongside the other mods you do, you will find this one very cheap for the result you will get (well I can always hope).

Se Qld Cruise
Would love to take the day off, but someone has to sell Turbo XR's. LOL. May be able to slip away early-mid arvo if necessary.

Se Qld Cruise
Excuse my ignorance (I don't get to the GC much), but where are you all meeting, what time and what is the planned route? Are families involved, or just driver and car? I would like to come, but am working during the day. Sorry if this has been answered, I looked in the thread, butonly found incoherant rmblings!!!! LOL Cheers, Paul.

Xr Panel Van?
We sold the ute originaly, and have another 4 on order for him. Have a look at his website: www.panelv.com.au It looks a bit odd with the extra length behind the back wheels, but would be roomy enough!
