right michael. lol.. I actually think the ebay seller sold me a dodgy bov cuz I put it on my mates wrx 2day and it just has a mild pssh which isnt the sounds its suppose 2 make.. wats this gfb mach1 bf hoon? thanks

I tried this bov on my mates xr6t whos running 10psi and just under 300 rw kw. this bov sounds exactly the same as it is on mine. as quiet as dropping a 5cent coin on the ground

Yes, I notice that the headlights and the silver grille always look hot on the mercury silver falcons. That grille is really nice but its hard being a turbo, I'd prefer 2 show off my cooler =]

Hey Bf Hoon, yes the vacume line hooked into the side of it. which is where its meant to go. So having such a long adaptor connecting the Bov wouldn't cause it? When I rev my car on the spot, I get the PSSH and no flutter. but when I drive off, I get the flutter. and I shouldn't get this as its an atmospherical bov. would this be due to stock boost? thanks.

I tried to install this all day today, just to see how it would sound on my car. I do intend to do that setup how its hooked into rubber pipe - leading to the throttle body, but wanted to make sure it actually works before I go to all that trouble. The adaptor this bov came with is off a wrx. It has a hose connected on it which is of the same size of small arms that come out of the crossover, where the bov is to be connected. What I've done is used the standard radiator hose, and plugged in the smaller hose this b.o.v came with, into it (as u can see in the picture). and I've got the small pressure hose connected to it as well. But it doesn't seem to work?. all I get is a flutter. and hear no noise at all from what the bov is meant to make. Even though the tubing changes in diameter half way to the bov, id assume it would atleast work still. heres a picture of what I've temporarily done. any thoughts and comments on what may be the problem, thanks.

Ok.. I wasn't after huge power as yet. wasn't wanting to change my injectors as my cars only a few months old. I just thought it would be ideal to get a stage 2 cooler first off and save money and time. instead of going through a stage 1 cooler, then a stage 2 cooler and having to get rid of the other cooler etc etc.. but anyhow . I was more so interested to see if these ebay coolers are cheap because they are cheaply made. or are a bargain. thanks

I've noticed there are a few very nice looking stage 2 coolers on ebay that sell for a really great price. but is there anyone on here that has had 1st hand experience with these brands? I have no mods to my car apart from a better breathing c.a.I and was intending to get a stage 2 cooler and hook it up with one of those process west or APS adaptor ic pipes. the cooler looks good and stands out being flush against the front bar. I was actually gonna do the same with the transformer sticker in the exact same spot. but it actually looks a lil wierd =p

So the pipe that goes from the throttle body is 5 inches? it looks 3" which I thought it was. Thanks for the pic, I can see how it could possibly fit on now. I thought it woulda had to go somewhere near where the original stock bov is positioned..

Although the turbo smart ones can come built to bolt straight onto our falcons, I was always keen to get this one.. wheres shift performance? is there one in melbourne?

just wanting to know if this is suppose to be normal or not.. when you get tints done, is it meant to fill the entire glass or is it only meant to look like it fills the entire window when the windows up? after I waited the 48 hours after getting my tints done, I pulled down the windows and theres a half cm of window that hasn't been covered with tint and its very noticable.

just wondering, was there any cruises on for b series falcons the other night.. (friday) saw a heap of xr's heading towards springvale road. another friend told me he saw about 15 - 20 xr's and gts run down springy road.

Neopgg they look fken hot on that car. I usually hate em but I think the black style suits only black and orange falcons. those chromed up silver ones are ugly. its like the cars wearing glasses on its rear bumper. has any one got that black aftermarket ones one a toxic falcon by anychance?

I read a post up on here about people recommending to change the oil yourself at 1500 km's once a new car has been run in. is that right? since there is a service at 3000 km's and my car has done 2000km's.. and with services, do we just let the service dep. put in their oils or do we do that all ourselves?
