I like the invo's, no where near the grip of r888's though
-
I had the R888's on before the RS3's, drove them in the rain with no issues at all. Anyone who has R888's on there car needs to immediately drop the tyre pressure down to 25-26 psi. Give the car a hit and report back, you will be amazed. Haha, bought these on Saturday, 305 30 19 $275 each fitted and balanced, so far now where near as good as the R888's but I'll see how they go. R888's were about $550 each :( Give these a try sixman http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/275-35-R19-2753519-275-35-19-275-35r19-Hankook-Ventus-R-S3-Tyre-/232036661989?hash=item3606767ae5:g:Cs4AAOSwezVWxprp

Street tyre for me means a tyre that is legal to drive on public roads in your state. An ET or Drag radial is not, and if you get pulled over by a cop that has any idea you will be bent over.

I think he means street tyres, not radials I went 11.0 @ 135 on Nitto Invo's

How wide is the wall?, just be mindful if you have a king size you don't want the bedsides hanging out. -

Nice, that was the deciding factor for us. Al the homes we saw had massive master suites but smallish bedrooms. Our house has a 6 x 4 master (plus walk-in and ensuite) and the other 3 rooms are 5 x 3. Plenty of room for the kids beds, tallboys and desks with left over room for it not to feel cramped. -

I like it, looks very functional. How big are the rooms upstairs (2 and 4) in the bigger house? Also please put double vanities in the master suite, azz will thank me later...lol Weather has set us back a bit but not really fussed as its not hot enough to swim now. Tiler came in yesterday and did the coping and waterline tiles, just needs to finish the feature wall. Then plumbing, almost there.... -

Agree 100% but if your building to live in it then make sure you don't skimp on something that you will eventually regret. If building to flip then be wise with extras, they sometimes pay off 2 fold -
I agree, r888's are very soft Regarding the EFR, I heard a while back that there were issues with overspinning the turbo but not sure if it was the 74 or the 80 I wouldn't mind trying the 8374 on e85, I reckon that would be the ultimate street turbo. I'm starting to get a bit of smoke coming from the exhaust when coming to a stop at traffic lights so the 6235 may need an overhaul. As much as I'd like to try the Borgy, I really like the 6235 6235 has done around 100,000 klms now so it has matched the reliability of the stock turbo.

What's the difference between the 9174 and the 9180? Mine with the PTE6235 went 476rwks on the same dyno with r888's 25psi tappering down to just under 23psi

I've been an Autotech customer for almost 10 years. My BF makes just under 480rwkws on eflex and is driven 5-600 klms per week. Have happily recommended and referred family and friends to Autotech and they have all been happy. My advice to anyone looking for a tuner is go in and see the workshops, speak to the Tuners and see which one suits. Everyone has different goals so don't be afraid to tell the tuner exactly what you want from your car. Don't get too caught up on what others are doing, at the end of the day you are the one that will be driving your car so you may aswell build it the way YOU want.

Looking at it from that view I would be using a composite type decking (mod wood) Reasons being: -Large amount of concrete will be needed -Dowelling a slab that big may cause too much stress on the pool if there is movement underneath Also, Modwood is hollow which will be cooler on the feet (have you ever walked on hot timer decking?) -

Only way to do it properly is: Option 1: Fence out, pavers off. Concrete slab dowelled into pool and then pavers straight on top of new slab. Option 2: Fence out, pavers off. Buy a good quality mod wood and deck it the same height as the coping paver. Option 3: Fence out, pavers off. Concrete slab dowelled into pool, same height as the coping paver, diamond cut in squares or diamonds and spray-crete it like this -

The Tile Liquidator in Smithfield, that's where I got mine from. I went for classic as I feel it suits the house, but they have silver and white aswell. I got 30mm travertine pavers for the pool coping and around the pool area and 12mm travertine tiles for the alfresco area. Same batch so the colour matches. https://www.tileliquidator.com.au/travertine -

Will eventually spray crete it to match the travertine around the pool. Something like this -

Yes, Diamond cut. I have a double driveway that was part of the home build. I widened it and concreted the back area in the pic and both sides of the house, the only cracks I have are in the existing driveway. All the new concrete is crack free Concreting was done by Big Joe @ Heavyweight Concreting Champion bloke -

I'm hoping to be able to finish the backyard this year too. Concrete slab (cause wog) 11m x 5m saw cut into 1m squares. Very happy with the way it turned out. Had a few issues submitting the plans for the pergola as they require it to be 4m off the back fence (even though the neighbours house is only 2m off the back fence. So we ended up with a 7m x 4.5m pergola to be installed once the pool is complete (may just extend it down the track once the pool is signed off) Plumbing and electrical hanging out is for a 4.5 metre wide brick outdoor kitchen with a granite benchtop. It'll have a sink 4 burner gas bbq and a 1.2m wide charcoal bbq aswell. On to the pool After 3 quotes and 4 no shows I ended up choosing Peter from Panda Pools and Spas. I highly recommend him to anyone in the Sydney area. He only does a 3 or 4 pools a year though as he is semi retired and has enough work servicing the pools he has build over the years. No we wait for concrete to cure....... -
