Brake upgrade - 'TBS Racing' custom brake system. 6POT front calipers, two piece slotted rotors, braided lines. 4POT rear, one piece slotted rotors, braided lines.

Custom remote res independent suspension on both front and rear. All but one leave spring were taken out but the caltrac bars, axle and dif braces were left in. Bit of a hybrid set up, but the handling and traction is night and day compared to the old peddlers suspension I originally had in from when I first baught my F6 over 8 years ago. See pics - - -

Hey guys, I had been wanting to do this to my FG trey for years now and finally did it. However, I got a pro to do it. PFA blueprints of the Fg trey. The next photo is the work done to my tub. Thick marine ply was set down and bolted to the cross members, the anchor rails, and tool box screwed into the wood, and then marine carpet. Ps. I know I'm replying to an old post, but this is more for the people who are looking to do something like what has been discussed. Cheers

OK! Excellent news! I heard there were issues with having big brakes on the rear Ute's in the wet locking up. But if you haven't had any issues = happy days! I'll post pics when they're on... Had a little hickup but will be putting them on this Monday so I'll get back to you 🤙

Fellas, So I am getting 6POT Stolz SFZ front and 4POT Stolz SFZ rear put on my F6 ute tomorrow. Has anyone upgraded the rear brakes beyond the OEM 1POT? As I know Ford never gave the option to upgrade the rear brakes as it apparently causes some issues. I've read from other forums that a few blokes have done it without issue but no first hand answers. Has anyone in this community done the above upgrades in their Falcon Ute? Cheers

Yea I have about 40mm space from the tire to the outside rolled guard and could make another 20mm at least if I rolled it further. The inside has far more room. Hopefully I can find a tire shop who is willing to do some proper measurements. What do you think of that space?

Hey, So I am wanting to fit the largest possible tire on my FPV FG F6 MK1 Ute. Will I be able to fit 315 35 R20 on the rear? I have the guards rolled and currently have installed 305 30 R20 but id like a larger side wall. Cheers Chad

Yea see I don't want to get rid of my f6 brakes and if I can get away with 16" rims I'll do that. Does anyone know if 16s will be the go??? I only have the OEM F6 rear calipers (no brembos). I have the rear guards rolled of course and currently have 305/30-R20 with plenty of room for wider tires. Once it was finished I picked it up and within 5 hours of driving it I blew the drive shaft CV lol. As the name goes if the coolant overflows it will drain out of that pipe through the engine bay onto the ground??Cheers MBAF! Last question for yous.
