Mine did that a year and a half ago and the whole thing was replaced under warranty. Mind you I was real keen to get my CD's back. Apparently it had to be sent to melbourne and opened up. It actually took a couple months to get the CD's back. Dimitri

As some of you would know I had CN RED (seein red) on my vixen coloured xr6t with black gt stripes. Suited the car perfectly. It became the car's nickname. But as others have mentioned the Roads and Tolls authority of NSW see it appropriate to charge a good $400 to get these plates made and an annual renewal fee of around $442. In september last year I reluctantly returned them. Really loved the plates but not the rort of paying every year. Anyway now I'm in queensland and hoping to get them up here if no one beats me to it. Still a couple thousand to get them made but at least I can hang on to them for as long as I like...or keep buying red cars.

Good to see some people aren't very busy at this time of year. I'm sweating on a drill rig getting some work done for us by tomorrow so we can go home for xmas. I cracked my passenger side one a couple months ago on my BA. Just under $130 from ford at tingalpa. Unfortunately if the glass is cracked you will need a whole new unit. U will have fun installing it. Cheers, Dimitri

Hello All, Great cruise as usual!!! Thanks Trent for putting together such a scenic selection of roads. It's a good way for some of us newbbies to QLD to check out some of the scenery. Good to meet some new people and catch up with some of the regulars. As some may have gathered, I have returned my CN RED plates to the good old RTA in NSW (it's a bit of a joke having to pay a good $400 each year). So I'm running a standard set at the moment but hopefully not for long. As usual, looking forward to the next cruise. P.S Might see some of you at the Dyno Day at Elite this saturday!!!
