My car is doing something very similar at 4000rpm - really starting to do my head in. In my car its very temperamental, sometimes I can punch it out... other times it gets to 4k, boost starts to drop back down to 8ish psi then starts to build again... but very slowly. Changing spark plugs this weekend and gonna clean the boost solenoid again. Last time I did the boost solenoid I didn't notice a tiny bit of difference though...not expecting that to be it. I think you might be right about the wastegate Henz.

Nah man. You've got the wrong springs in it. You've put a BA-BF1 spring in it. The BF2's have a different shocker which needs a different spring. Trust me I went the other way and this is what the front of my car looked like... lol.

My 06BF1 is on 113,000k's and pushing 375rwkw. Started modding around the 70,000k mark. Haven't had an engine problem yet... *fingers crossed* I just don't go punching it constantly, religeously warm up/cool down and always over service it.
