Walking along the beach yesterday and got buzzed by two Blackhawk's each about 15 minutes apart, following the coastline about 200 foot off the ground! Jeez, they're not half small! I was racking my brain trying to think where they'd be from. The nearest base of any sort is Evans Head but it's Air Force, so maybe Armidale? Anyway I'm wondering, what would the range of a Blackhawk be with two large external fuel tanks on it as I'm really interested where they came from.
