Hi all, Just picked up a BF MK11 auto last week and have booked in for the following at Power Torque Engines at Brendale near Brisbane a) Edit and Custom Tune (include spark plug regap) b) SS CAI c) K&N filter Total cost $1125 (I already have the CAPA box but it needs to be reflashed). Has anyone used these guys - can you reccomned them ? What are your thoughts regards the basic mods. Not looking for a drag car just some more useful power for "safe overtaking" on the open road. Illegal, Illegal.... just asking for trouble with Radar detectors in Aus. AS far as I know that are absolutly detectable by the police. I have heard stories of them pulling cars apart at the side of the road to find where they might be hidden and leaving you to tidy uo the mess (as well as a nice fine) when they find them. Even if you are a genius at stealth and they can not actully find the unit - they will book you. My advice - do not spend the money on one of these as it will cause you more grief the it is worth.

Just placed an Order for a BF MK2 with the luxury pack. Still do not know final prices but was told that there was no real changes to the XR series as they were selling well anyway. Would be nice to get the extra Kw's but I am sure it is just BS

I ahve said this in another post but I will repeat here. Currently paying $1.80 for 95 RON here in Switzerland. Few weeks back paying about $2.60 in the UK. Petrol taxes are bad in Austalia but still much worse in other parts of the world.

Hi Guys, just think yourselves lucky you do not have to live in Europe, regards fuel prices. Currently in Switzerland the price for 95RON is $1.80 lt. If you are unlucky enough to live in the UK (I was there a few weeks ago) price is closer to $2.60. Us Aussies are taxed a lot on fuel at home, BUT NOTHING like some others have to pay. On the other hand I lived in Indonesia for a few years, there fuel is low grade and heavily subsidised but I was only paying about $0.15 per litre back then. Think we might be getting slightly off topic - sorry.

Amazing Sh*t !! Totallly awesome. I actually plugged in my earphones at work one afternoon and tuned in to this. I was unprepared for the noise !! IT actually scared (woke) me !! The rest of the office were wondering what was wrong with me. Mate, the car is a total credit to you and I must say that classic white looks just great. I would love to have a cruise in your girl sometime just to see what that must feel like with that much mumbo. Truelly impressive for a fat girl!

It was supposed to be this weekend but he told me he had to move it - not sure when this visit will be - sorry. He will also be coming up in November sometime. I am attempting to make a tentative booking with as we speak.

Hi Ben, thanks for all the good oil on the novated leasing/FBT thing. I have a question for you. I will be novating 2 cars within the next 2 months. Both over 12 months, 25000k's/yr. This will bring my gross salary down considerably. My question, does novating increase my eligibility for the Family Tax Benefit A and B or is this canceled out based on FBT values. Not sure how it works in this regard and other similar type allowances etc. Any info appreciated.
