hey buddy, its a bit hard to tell performance wise at the moment, seeing as yeh ive only done 100kms or so.. but in overall refinement, the F6 wins hands down... it is so much quieter - both engine and road noise - and is overall a much more comfortable car.. not that the Z was terrible, but was definitely had sportscar like suspension and you could feel every bump. the F6 also feels a lot more sealed when you close the doors, a lot more solid maybe is the word.. probably the only downside so far is the difference in throttle response.. the Z had razor sharp throttle/pedal response whereas the F6 seems to take a bit longer to respond, although im sure this is just a function of the drive by wire software instead of the engine characteristics.. im sure I will get used to this though.. The F6 does feel faster even at this early stage but that also could be the whole turbo spooling up effect.. The Z had similar midgear pickup but the power delivery was very linear, to the point where it didnt really feel fast at all sometimes.. I should be able to make some more comparisons after a couple of days of driving, but so far im loving it and loving the black !!.. cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> welcome to the wonderful world of turbo lag... but it is a great world cos once you boost it up 16psi + on those GT3540, its tyre frying as can been seen with the Xtreme F6 Gezz someone buy my GT.. gezz u guys are getting pretty good deals 35K on 04 mk1 on a trade in!!... im trying to sell my GT 2003 the dealer will only offer me 34K for it.. 38,000km, all options .. so im trying to sell it for 45K private which is a steal I think.. and so many people come to look at it.. but as you guessed no offers..

for a mkII typhoon they should be getting rid them off for around 55K to make way for the new model in october, don't take anything more then 55K and get some options.. I picked mine up for 55,500 with mats and momo wheel.. just tell them what price u want or go elsewhere.. or wait for the BF as they will come with brembos or if u like autos the 6 speed box.. or .. if u wanted u can buy my GT! 2003.. its so hard to sell!! perfect nik with heaps of options and its going for 45K.. cheers

Your statement is concise and to the point, a little brutal for the F6 owners egos perhaps, but then you will never be able to express yourself forcefully to X generation wannabes without a bit of contusing. There is only one muscle icon to date and that is of course the GT no doubt, end of argument. No matter how torqie or zippy they make the in-line 6 it will never sound like a V8, that spine tingling roar when you let those 8 pots pump up is truly a horn inducing experience. There, that should get some bites!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes Yes, I do agree with the sound of the BOSS, I've got headers and a full exhaust on the GT and she is very loud when u pump her up!, lots of thumbs up .. even from the Expensive Daewoo boys.. . But in saying that im a more into performance than driving an icon, I want wheel spin in second just when u put your foot down after 3000rpm (aka Simon!) just what im after!

I'm not writing them off, I can just see that persisting with people who aren't firing and playing well just because the scored EightySeven Million against Outer-Bangladesh Thirds 17 years ago is folly. I feel that there just needs to be changes.. there are a few people in that team that are too sure of themselfs, and should get a threat (kick in the arse) to play better.. they are the world champs so all of them should be on top of there game .. or let go and get someone in who is playing better.. this doesn't mean drop them if they don't perform after a few games.. but the whole dizzy issue.. and now even though im a big fan of both players, hayden and martyn and not pulling there weight!.. its time for changes.. but in respect to this current game.. I hope both katich and clarke build a nice total .. I don't want them to lose!!

I feel hayden should be dumped.. so should martyn ... in replace I think hussey and hodge should come in .. bring some new blood... like the paper was saying today, Australia are paying for there mistakes... . not dropping Dizzy at the start of the series and bringing Tait in. Tait is fantastic he brings raw pace.. he's faster than B.lee and he's young.. Hayden I feel is not there anymore.. he's dropping catches etc etc.. its time for a big re-shuffle (we got the players to do it!!) or its the end of our reign at the top!. But good on England it looks like they want it more! What do you guys think??

I got a call back from my dealer today to pick up my phoon on tuesday and asked him about any changes to the BF Typhoon.. he said the bumpers, standard brembos for all FPV's and the optional 6 speed auto.. that's all the stuff that going on the phoon.. but of course he might be hiding stuff

I think punter is influenced too much by gilly and warne.. it was so bad when warne was bowling round the wicket with no mid wicket or short mid wicket! he was just giving away runs.. and I must say pieterson was not out! but good catch by gilly either way... I think it will be good that england win this.. makes it more interesting and hopfully dizzy goes and they bring in Tate.. he deserves a start.. but they might play macgill next test.. but I think both Martyn, Clarke and Katich should have a bit more pressure put on them.. I personally think Hussey should be in the side.. anyways my 2c's cheers Paul

haha yea , both cars are great.. V8 rumble when shes high in the rev range is great... but I sold my GT for a F6 cos its got more bang! for your buck.. seeing those videos of simon's F6 ... well I want that!! hahaha

yea .. that's soo low.. when I had a 200sx a while back.. I dead set left the car for 5 mins and I get back.. there is a big dent in my roof.. then I get my GT leave it for a hr or so.. get back the whole driver side has been key'd.. u just wonder what these people get out of it.. sorry to hear about it mate..

yea love the GT, had mine for a bit, the BOSS is a great engine, headers +exhaust = makes the GT sound right!, but bad news im defecting to turbo, the GT's up for sale and I take the Phoon in 1 month.. it will be sad, but I want to try something new.

don't bother its already sold , I called as they wern't replying to my emails. But hey all im new here, currently own a GT in the process of selling as my phoon is coming in 1 month!
