Dude, I'm totally the opposite. Though the foggies aren't that bad. And I'm also bloody happy that they kept the original F6 rims as standard, though aren't impressed that there are no pics! That machined face looks awesome covering massive red Brembo calipers. You should see them in motion! Pure magic :rokon: To FPV: show me a bloody pic of a HgAg BF phoon with the standard rims will ya! That damn 'colourator' only shows the dark 19 inchers. Still undecided if I like such dark rims on HgAg <{POST_SNAPBACK}> nah.... standard rims allll the way mate!!

no the flutter isn't loud when your in your car, but outside people can hear it, and if u have people that love turbos, they all turn around and give you the , if u want crazy loud.. get a BOV have it tightend (just a little), up the boost to say 1 bar , load her up to about 3-4grand (so the BOV doesn't let off the phssshst sound, hahaha) and you'll get you magic flutter!!!. Once 1500 kms comes along I'll be going in for my free service, then it will be starting for me

yer it does.. I put one 2 days ago (K&N Panel Filter).. u can hear the turbo whisle and 'Compression Surge' a lot more .. sounds like the old days in the 200sx I use to have... the chu chu chu (hahaha) when u changed gears

At the time, the wheels were really getting under my skin. I must've spend a good 30 mins walking around gawking at them (all the time trying to imagine them on HgAG). Then my brother pointed out that I could always get them later , and sell the originals. I did test the water though. The response I got wasn't encouraging. I was told that they were happy to take a deposit, but couldn't guarantee my pricing or discounts etc. That ticked me off a bit. Maybe I spoke to the wrong guy, but I was hoping for more of a "no worries mate, lets see what sort of deal I can do for you" scenario, as opposed to the "place your $60-odd K here scenario" that I encountered at the show. Might be that I wasn't taken too seriously - despite me turning 30 last week, I still get asked for ID on the odd occasion (was nearly refused entry into the 'Cruise bar' down at the The Rocks later that night too) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hahaha I know how u feel.. except im 21.. so when I turned up at ford wanting to buy a F6 they all looked at me and went WTF? this guys just after a joy ride, well showed them when I bought one on the day.. , but back on the top.. just went to my dealer to check prices of the new BF for intrest sake.. I asked for the MOMO wheel, mats.. and 6 piston brembos.. 65K on road.. bit too much for me...

I like the BA, as I own one of course , I think the BF looks just as tuff, if not tuffer with the standard brembos, but I 'feel' the 19" wheels just don't suit it.. that is my view!, but hey there both F6's so I like them both! very much ...

sorry mate.. didn't read it properly well I think stock they look great!!, and your T seems pretty stock aswell? .. its really what u want out of the car? I went from a GT to the F6, as I just wanted more power 'bang for your buck' you can't go wrong with the F6 Gavin.. you ask everyone here.. they are happy with what they got and so am I!! go the Phoon! or Tornado! also.. u can get them to put on the MOMO wheel the mats. just tell them I'll take it for 51K with those options.. good luck with it, u'll be one happy man when u get one!

heya Gavin, F6 cold air intake if im not mistaken is standard, so are the pedals. Ask for all those options he has said.. and don't take any more than I'd say 53-54K for that maybe even lower as people here have bought brand new for 54K, so maybe even 51K with 6000km's on it I say buy one while you can there going out the door! and worth it! cheers

So what you going to do SavageD? I think you go down there and offer them 50K for the BA F6, and mod it up to the price you were going to buy the BF?? I think IMO the BA F6 looks far better!!

have to say.. not a fan of those F6 rims :<, other than that looks nice.. love the GT look with the old GTP rims..

I got number 446 so one of the last ones made.. , my dealer told me drive it like u would always.. so I have been hammering the car .. loading up on every gear , just got it dynoed with around 450km's on it.. put out 223.6 rwkw.. very happy

well took it to the dyno today to see what she was putting out in stock form before I start the mods.. it pulled a healthy 223.6 rwkw on shootout mode, boost was hitting 9psi and slowly moving down to 7psi up top end, which is the norm I think.. other than that very happy with the output..

well I owned a 210rwkw 200sx before I bought the GT.. I thought a nice change to a V8 would be the ticket , I got headers, exhaust etc.. sounded HORN!! , but I still wasn't satisfied, so I was thinking.. edit, cams etc for the V8, but after being on these forums for a while and looking at all the F6 owners making some amazing figures for very little money.. !! I went a test drove one, and I was hooked!, The GT is a great car.. don't get me wrong.. but not the pulling power in stock form as the F6. Each to there own I guess.. im happy and would recommend both cars to anyone, as there all part of the FPV range, Which is one good Family!! cheers Paul

well I just sold my GT yesterday for a F6 .. so u know which one I'd choose , also I talked to the guys here in brissy about the BF again! and they dropped some bait , all they said to me was there unsure on the power outputs for the new GT-GTP yet.. the F6 is staying the same, but maybe just maybe the GT-GTP are getting more power? will be intersting in a week to see !!

Well today was the day...!!! After Waiting a good month until the GT finally sold , I picked up my Black Typhoon here in Brissy today, and what can I say... HELL YEA! Can't wait to get going on those mods.. I've put 150kms on her so far (picked her up with 11km) with a few straps to around 4-5 grand to grind her in real nice!, Only Extras I got were mats and momo wheel. Other than that, here are some photos.. real bad quality but still its better than nothing.. I'll get some nice ones up soon! cheers Paul

don't trade in your T, I've tried to sell mine (03GT) back to ford, for a phoon and they would only take $34K for it! So im selling privite. If I were you, as there should be some 05 mkII left in a few months, sell your car privite and get a runout deal for 55K or less. Also insurance, best thing to do is call as chrisf6 said im 21 and phoon insurance is $2800 for me. cheers

that's bad, l thought they had held value better than that. Private is definitley the go but you need to be patient in my experience.
