  9. Finally got to a point where I can say stereo is finished. there will be bits and pieces I might want to change or move around but after 2 years its what I want. Systems comprises of... Alpine IVA D300E Multimedia Unit Alpine 6.5" R Type Splits Alpine 5x7" S Type Splits Alpine 12" DVC S Type Sub Alpine MRD M301 Monoblock (Sub Amp) 2 x Alpine MRP T220 (Speaker Amps) Response Precision 1 Farad Capacitor A lot better than the standard system IMO I have to get it tuned right, it sounds ok but could be running a lot better. I made a new sub box sealed up the edges with silcon and stuffed the inside with cotton wool. when tuned right the sub will punch out an awesome note. Dont take notice of the mess behind the seat, ill have to sort this out.

Hey Guys, I dont have any photos yet, but I got the SSL and SL spring package off ebay installed last thursday, I am not in need of a camber kit yet, but my main concern is that I trimmed my bump stops from the first notch down, but my rear end still seems to squeek. All those people who lowered their cars with the same spring package did you trim the stops at the first or second notch? Cheers P.S. will post up some pics ASAP Dave

Hi all, I have recently purchase the EBAY King Springs package SSL and SL and just looking at some shocks to go with them. I didnt particuarly wana spend big money on a set of bilsteins, I just wanted a set of maybe Sensor-Trac GT Monroes but I have been told monroes dont make shocks to suit the SSL and SL springs only for the Lows... Could someone tell me if this is crap and I could still use these monroe shocks.... or would the standard shocks be ok, or would they pop out if you have a lot of travel in the rear??? any help will be great even if someone could guide me with another brand..... I have read many threads regarding lowering but its not really helping... :( sorry guys Cheers Dave
  22. Hey thanks for the reply, I am actually in Mackay, QLD, I am wondering if you guys would supply the parts and I could get somone to fit them up this way? How much are the different gear ratios, and do they come with all the required parts? Cheers Dave
  23. Hey guys, I wanna do a few more mods to the xt, one being a change of differential gears. At the moment I have the stock base model diff (single wheel spinner) just wondering what would be the easiest way to get a better launch.. obviously a set of 4.11 diff gears would be ideal... but in my case what would be the cheapest and easiest eay to get a better launch maybe a 3.7 spline? Has anyone done this before? or is it purely a waste of time? I know its only an "XT" but I wanna be different to the average joe out there with an xt... if the diff doesnt work out im still dropping it from its 4WD height :D Thanks in advance guys Dave
  24. I was looking at a set of kings SL all around, I heard that SSL make the car sit to low at the rear... but I know of a couple of guys who have them in and cant be happier.... hmm koni adjustables damn arm and a leg type shocks? mmm I honestly dunno what to get... so many options
