OK folks, since the recent hike in fuel prices I have resorted back to the 'ol 25lt tub and cupboard full of stubbies to augment my beer consumption. Also the brews available now are far superior to the old Wanda crap that was around in the late 80's. So, just wondering who on the forum are brewing and what are some of your favourite recipies......... Cheers..........

It may be cheap but some are of quite good quality, for quaffing that is. Of course you would be hard pressed (excuse the pun) to find a cask wine of the quality of say Henshki 'Hill Of Grace' or a Hardy's 'Portrait' or for that matter a Penfolds 'Jacob's Creek Reserve' Shiraz. At the end of the day I get a bigger buzz from the wine than orange juice or milk! PS: Took longer for a bite than I thought it would though..........

All this talk of coffee etc; Actually I'm sitting here drinking a cappaccino that I made myself, I've even got the brown swirls in the foam and a nice crucifix shaped cross done expertly with the cocoa shaker. I find if you bang the pot of hot milk hard 3 or 4 times on a hard bench top it firms up the foam to a nice creamy texture. We only use fresh roasted beans from a little coffee supplier in Margaret River, grind them ourselves, only the best for us, well EID actually because if her cuppaccinos' or latte's are not 100%.......(well, I won't go there as the memories of my suffering are just too painful)......Ear!!! 'ang on she is pretty close to Sydney at the moment radaring in on Ken's Bowling Club I should imagine.......
