2002 BA Just clocked over 157,000

Mines doing the exact same thing. Just got the 90000km service and had new plugs installed. Mine does it from 3rd tp 4th and 4th to 5th. Just like yours first gear will rev all the way?? Goes in today so hopefully they can sort it out. Will let you know YPURV4 what they found. Cheers Paul

Hey Judd Here is a pic of a XR8 with a tray. Sorry about the photo. Was on a old phone. There is a bionic tornado geeting around Mackay and looks good. Must be a work ute as he has 2 great big aluminium tool boxes on the back. Also there is a xr6 in at Frendley Motors.Bit not sure if it has a wood floor. Yes you can disconnect the wire before removing the spolier. Just got some photos of the plug you need to undo..And its easy to plug the harness back in if you want to put the spoiler back on....Mine is a BA2002 Hope this helps Cowie

When you take the spoiler off the holes are different sizes. I went to Clarks Rubber and got all the correct size gromets from there. I painted them the colour of the car first then put them on. If you put your hand topside of the bootlid you should be able to feel the plug and wiring harness on the inside. Cowie

You are not crazy (at least not based on the above ), I remember the article, and it was a desert test of the F6 and I think other FPV models, and somewhere in the article they did say that the boost increased as the temperature went up. I can probably find the article if someone disputes this. Not sure if it in fact true, but that's another story ← It said : As ambient goes up, so does the boost pressure.The fact is that as ambient temp increases, a modern turbomotor will increase its boost pressure to compensate for the relative lack of air density that is part and parcel of a hot day. Have the article but scanner is not working. Might try with phone see how they come out. Cowie

a lot of them are that way only a select few are tossers. When you think about it, especially these days, most cops are younger blokes who no doubt like a good car.
