^^^ mine was doing this - idling at 1250, revs spiking when changing gears etc.. its booked to go in today to get the TPS replaced under TSB 97R/04 which hopefully will fix the issues... it runs fine sitting at the lights except sitting on 1250rpm but had coughed and cut out twice so far.. runs perfect after a restart as well.. havent washed under the bonnet or anything, stock car stock tune so hopefully the TSB TPS replacement will sort it.. seeing as the TB needs to be removed to install the TPS, is it safe to assume the 'trained mechanics' at Ford will clean it while its off seeing as its a known possible cause of this issue, or do I need to explicitly tell them .. whats the bet they try and charge for it as well haha

LOL at 'BAM' !! yeh mate there are heaps of enclosure types, each with their own positives and negatives... I've had about 6 different sub setups in cars over the years, 5 of them were sealed and one was ported. The sealed definitely had more impact, went deeper and was more accurate but the ported moved more air and would sound louder overall but not as deep... hard to explain the sound difference. a for a bandpass box, I would only bother with one if you were entering SPL comps, they have to be pretty precise and only sound good within a narrow bandwidth range.. if you can afford good subs and a good amp then I reckon go for a sealed box and just throw as much power as possible at it..

yeh that's a pretty sh*t trade but wouldnt surprise me really.. fords in general dont hold their value and dealers all need to make money.. im taking my F6 in to be valued one day this week and I cant wait to see what comical value they put on it.. about 12 months ago they said it was worth $34-36k to them, but then they made up $10k of fake sh*t that needed to be fixed on it and would therefore give me $24k hahaha

hell yeh, I once had a lowly RMX250... was a nice bike, plenty of power with an FMF zorst and some good tuning... then I rode my mates brand spankin CR500, fark me now that's what a dirtbike should be like!! instant roost almost any gear at insane speeds hahha.. cant imagine how sick a worked one would be haha

its done about 63,3XX kms as of about Wednesday so not too many for an 05.. as a verbal they said somewhere around 28-31k, depending on kms and if its in good nick, which it is and has low kms so I'd say they've give me 30ish in the end.. pretty close to what I want for it anyway..

hey thanks mate, I just gave them a quick call and as a ballpark they offered a few more grand than I was expecting... probably a little bit under what I was wanting for it but still definitely worth going to if I have any issues selling it.. I shouldnt have any dramas I dont think, its never been caned, tracked or taken down the quarter or anything.. bit of wet weather sideways action is about the most thrashing its seen and is generally pretty excellent nick with no dings etc.. but I guess the market will decide!

im selling my F6 and looking at an FG either XR6T, G6ET or turbo ute and I reckon il defo be gettting the leather + premium audio.. I hate the yellowy non premo screens so defo want the bigger colour one but im not too fussed on leather really..

I was planning on importing some banshongs and pimping them out to you mate haha.. nah I think lotto will be the only way im ever comfortably rich! theres no conditions on the lease so we can do as we please basically and include aftermarket accessories in the packaging and also package any maintenance such as 'tunes' or replacement exhaust items that have been 'damaged' haha.. wish I'd taken a snap of that silk G6ET I saw, so f***n nice!!
