Was looking at my odometer last night and there is something puzzling with it. I haven't reset "trip B' since I picked the car up and it reads 1507.2. The cars odometer reads 1506. How is it so. I then watched to see where it clicked over to line its self up, and it seems that the trip computer is about 300 meters in front of the odometer. Has anyone else seen or heard of this? Thanks.

would be interested in the results as well, paid $1.35 for BP Ultimate on Saturday morning. $95 to fill the ute up, my bank account is not liking this at all.

I heard from a ford dealer in Adelaide that a known (to the sales person - not me!) Madam had ordered a Menace GT-P not so long ago. So might see one on the streets of Adelaide soon.

haven't had the XR tuned there but, Martin tuned my Swift GTi @ Morpowa and can't complain. Simon & Martin both know their stuff.

gotta T ute, filled it up twice so far and have got over 400 k's from each tank. Mainly do city driving with some rather spirited sprints.

got mine with options below (minus FPV centre caps - have a friend) for $41500. fleet discount helped to get it down to that.

was purchased from Maughn Theim's at the port, were extremely helpfull as followed up phone calls and even rang me on monday to see how the car was going and if everything was alright (which shocked me) . Pics are on the way, and will probably be up for a cruise at some stage, just gotta work around the boss (wife) with her plans for me doing stuff around the house. But certainly keep me informed and I'll keep checking SA chit chat for up coming outings.

I have this too, but it sounds more like gear backlash than diff clunk, can be felt through the shifter when you let the clutch out.

Finally got the ute on Friday night, Man I love it. Far cry from the 4's that I have been driving in the past. To scared to push it ATM just in case . Have been told not to push it past 4K until it has 1k Kms on it . My dealer gave me a nice big Panorama Jacket, an FPR hat and put lock nuts on the car for me FOC! And I know but have been driving it all week end and have not wanted to stop to take them. has been fun so far, can't wait till I get used to driving it and can rev it a bit more.

Would an engine oil cooler help with this problem . Will be doing the same with my ute, and taking my other car (Suzuki Swift - rather modified) to the track (Mallala) for some track days. Simon

Hey All, I'm an Adelaidian heading over to Melbourne for the weekend of the 22nd (to watch the footy) but wouldn't mind heading out to see the drags and to catch up with some XR6 Turbo drivers. Speaking to my dealer, they have been told that they can not have any holidays in October, so that must be when the new model is being released to the public, but press release must be before that, hence the no tour for the next month.

Just spoke to the switch at FPV, and was told that they are not running any tours for the next month as there is a new model release coming up, so until it is released they won't be doing tours. DAMN YOU! ONLY VISIT TO MELBOURNE THIS YEAR and they aren't open. UUURRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I do know that the team won't be there as they are in QLD for the QLD 500. So I guess I will miss that side of it, but what else do you get to see. Simon

Is it worth going to have a look at FPV/FPR. Will be in Melbourne next week end (22/7 - 25/7) and looking at going out to FPV, but not sure if it wil be worth it not. Has anybody been to have a look and is it worth the effort to get out there? Thanks for any input. Simon (Adelaide)

Why does it seem that each colour I like gets taken off the list. When I went to order mine I wanted Envi - GONE! So I said I'll get Mandarin - GONE! So I get Velocity (ordered already, thank god), Now that's GONE! So what colours do you guys want me to like as it seems the colours I like keep getting deleted by FORD. Not just that, they aren't replacing them with any nice colours.

I am still waiting for mine. Was ordered about the 20th April. Keep getting told that there are delays at the factory as they did not expect the "Magnet Pack" utes to be so popular, which has caused a shortage in the hard lids.
