Is it worth going to have a look at FPV/FPR. Will be in Melbourne next week end (22/7 - 25/7) and looking at going out to FPV, but not sure if it wil be worth it not. Has anybody been to have a look and is it worth the effort to get out there?

Thanks for any input.

l've done it several times and l guess its worth it. Probably more exciting if you are buying or waiting on an FPV. l guess you never know what you may see on a visit there.

I do know that the team won't be there as they are in QLD for the QLD 500. So I guess I will miss that side of it, but what else do you get to see.

Mate, say hello to my Phoon while you are there. It gets delivered to FPV on the 21st (apparently)......... :nono:

We just won a deal to upgrade a network at a client site directly across the road. I figure I should take a couple of hours to have a look.

I should setup a webcam to stream 24x7 and catch any of the secret cars leaving for middnight testing :nono:

Just spoke to the switch at FPV, and was told that they are not running any tours for the next month as there is a new model release coming up, so until it is released they won't be doing tours. DAMN YOU! ONLY VISIT TO MELBOURNE THIS YEAR and they aren't open. UUURRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Very interesting, I have a MK III on order and they won't say when the release is the B*ST*RDS. Even when I mentioned the Motor Mag picture they denied a MK III, said it was just development testing.
