Interesting, Did another Typhoon today that was the lowest one yet for stock power figures. 192rwkw stock shootout 6. After Tune it was 252 rwkw. Amazing how the car was that low standard, it has 12k on it aswell so it wasnt as if it was not run in!.

that's impressive!!!! Only injectors?? Sorry Guys, Ive been flat out, Ive now got the cat ect for this particular car and im just awaiting the car to be returned to me for the next lot of mods and info for all. I did the injectors on Hypnodocs car last week but after one night of driving the temp clutch fix died so its now awaiting the new clutch overall fix. Ill keep you all informed.

279.4 rwkw's Will post graph soon. Cars great, customer now wants to move to the next lot of mods, Time for a zorst

The smoothness of a graph can be changed by the scaling of it. The important thing to note is that the graph lines are identical with just one just being alot higher. As for shoot out 8, that's the latest mode that's basicly the standard with DD dynos. power graph looks very uneven - like the car hasnt been strapped down properly ( that will also give high numbers) and is skipping on the front roller or if it is strapped properly then I would suggedt his engine is suffering issues - maybe the dreaded boost surge we keep hearing about. Do you have a graph showing boost. Firstly, who runs cars on a DD dyno without having them strapped down?? everyone knows they give false readings if this is done.. SO obviously it was strapped down. We had 3 straps to make sure it couldnt creep forward on the rollers. Secondly the cars Power is pretty much identical to thta of the original run accept its alot higher, the litle dips and bumps follow the same route. I will post the follow up graph tomorrow with the injectors fitted.

No mate its not, DOcs car already has zorst ect on it and I wanted to do a stage by stage biuld up for those interested, Fitting CAPA 42 pound injectors to this car now to see just how far we can go without actually changing anything on the car, then will do the air filter pad and zorst ect. Nice contradiction there, if you are changing the injectors then you *are* changing something on the car. Sorry maybe I should have been a bit more specific, I mean I wanted to see how far we can go without doing the zorst or any other mods cept Obviously, the injectors..... Obviously the first graph and forst post was showing what the stock car was achieving.....

Mate I enjoy driving as much as I do my 288 RWKW gtp because the power delivery is just so strong down low and so positive. The best thing about it is you can leave a corner in third and squeeze the throttle and it just Goes like stink. I love these things.

Hey guys, Heres a nice insite to what the Typhoons potential is when you use the CAPA Software to tune it. This is dead stock car, not even a filter pad change.. STOCK as a rock. Then tunes while it sat on the Rollers. Note the lovely increase in torque and the modified power line has the same shape and produces alot more of everything.

Done Care to post the dyno sheets of the F6 running 13 psi? Would be interesting to see just how much power the stock injectors can support. Also, is the F6 running 13 psi totally stock? I owuld if I could get the cars back froim ford , they are both in awaiting clutch fixes. But dont worry mate, ill post them soon enough. But not on here, ill get Pmed again and told off as im not a forum sponsor

Thanks Rick but I'm going to disagree with you. The bigger injectors are to ensure reliability when the rest of the hardware is fitted and the boost is turned up. I didn't expect any extra power just by fitting the bigger injectors, it was more a case of mid to high 12 AFR on the stock injectors at peak rpm and maximum boost don't add for engine durability. I was very impressed with the results of the tune after the injectors had been done. More power with less boost and richer fuel mixtures. Lucky for us there are several people in WA WA land who know their stuff. Simon and BPT are the only ones I know of. probably=not 100% sure, therefore I assume you are guessing. Simon told me it had been done. The driver of the car denied it. Maybe the driver isn't the owner Care to post the new dyno graph for us to see?

Still Jason I would have thought that you would have gained more then 5 rwkw's with an injector change. Im haniging out to fit Docs pump and injectors to his Grey Ghost, I have a figure in mind for his car and im confident I will get it quite easily.

I think with a competant driver low 12's at hi teen MPH's and with some rubber a peaky boo into the 11's

Does this car have number plates F6TYPHOON or TYPHOONF6 or there abouts? Speaking to the driver 2 weekends ago on a cruise I was told it was standard - handn't been touched. Fine tuned indicates further tuning, meaning it wasn't standard..... If it was stock I tell ya it goes damn well for a stock car...it managed to keep up with mine and mine was putting out 260rwkw then Good to see all these tuned BA's roaming the streets its a different car now, 13 pound program, a wall of torque that just makes anything else seem silly Excellent I know what you mean about torque. These things can make mountains of it:B): Out of curiousity, have the injectors been changed for the 13 psi program? I know when you did my initial tune the stock fuel system was running out at 5k rpm with the 10 psi program. The AFRs' were rising sharply to over 12.5 with the wide band sniffer in the exhaust over 5000rpm. Maybe the fuel pumps are different between the 2 models. There's another thread on this forum making mention it. The 2 F6's that you've done really sound like monsters on the street Well the Typhoon takes a 13 pounf without injectors being aproblem, they are on there limit at that level but, Im a little suprised you have got more from yours with injectors being done? considering they where on there limit by 5000 and we pulled boost out to keep it in check and still made 260 rwkw's...

He mate, Doc's Beasty will be back where it belongs (In MY Opps I mean His) hands late next week.. :D:D: cant wait. As for the mods, I would recommend the edit by itself, then the injectors and Dump pipe and cat together. With just the edit you will find the limit of the injectors pretty quick. Once you have the done the injectors you can complement the cat ect. Then do a custom tune and you wont ever look back, cept to see the headlights of the current victim . Dammit, must find more 'quiet' cash................... hahah I think we all know how that feels mate
