  1. Seat just arrived. OMFG less than 10 mins in it and haven't dialed it in yet, but damn. You know the feeling when you get a massage and a knot is broken and circulation starts returning - that's the feeling of pressure release I'm getting compared to the old chair down my legs. If they made anything like this for carseats it's be a done deal.
  2. Love Costco
  3. Isn't that a builders job? Part of the "build the house" bit of building a house? Did you have bits on the contract that you'd be taking on yourself?
  4. 1 week to go. Still time for others to join.
  5. Yeah - lawyer and no hold barred.
  6. Did they make any movement on the earlier issues you had hanging over from the build?
  7. Farkn hell Pixy - kunt definitely needs to be reamed. Builders insurance (or whatever body the builders come under) should have your back when he disappears in a meat grinder/branch mulcher? Your build deserves its own thread
  8. I've PM'd the details of the place I've booked for Sunday night
  9. KK - I leave the steam/origin/uplay etc clients open in the taskbar so they update in the background and ready to go whenever I fire them up.
  10. PC or console? I use the consoles so rarely that whenever I decide to turn one one I usually give up due to system and game updates that need to load :(
  11. Will organise Warnambool tomorrow. Looks like it'll just be the 3 cars
  12. Excellent news Was the main thing I was concerned about. New rubber to go on the car next week in anticipation.
  13. Had an op on my back about 5 years ago - starting to get "old man pains" in it again. Replaced my mattress for a proper one 13 months ago and it helped heaps - that takes care of 8 hours a day Replacing my seat will take care of another 12 or so hours a day (home office - work in it all day and use it out of hours too) 12 year warranty the <$2k price should pay for itself after 1st decade (usually only get a couple of years out of a chair - always bought crap from officeworks that looked and felt comfy instore - they always lose their comfort and start looking ratty far too soon)
  14. You got me to bite the bullet and order one too Am sure my back's aching more today than it was before I ordered it lol. The current officeworks seat feels like a bed of nails now
  15. Ditto. I get a lot more done from home than I used to do when in the office Just wish my boss wasn't such a lazy arse bastard slave driver
  16. Didn't know whether to post here or in the WMMFGT thread, but here is more fitting. Bought the car 4 years ago (1% finance over 48 months. (<$40k for specced up Limited Edition) Final payment went through today. I've spent the last 4 years keeping the car stock standard and only ever driven it to church on Sundays. Finally I can get a tune put into the car, take it to the drags, take it round the track and let it loose on some curvy roads Damn I showed a lot of restraint til now.
  17. Look through the build threads that are in the sub-forums for the power range you're after to see what people have had to do to get to the level you're after reliably. Speak to your tuner (or find a decent one with help from here) and work with them to end up with the setup they're happy to work on to get to the level you're after. BA engine will probably need a fair bit more than just "bolt-on's" before a decent tuner will even have a play - the power you're after needs an engine that's ready for it and supporting mods etc. Start a fresh thread in the 400rwkw outlining what you have, where you want to end up and how you hope to get there and I'll merge your threads into it. "Help Hezabot get to 400+" or something similar as the title? The more directed and researched you make the post the more likely you are to get people adding their advice. The more shotgun approach it is, the more people will skip it
  18. FG or BA/F? Doing it all yourself or through a tuner?
  19. Have edited out the link - is it legit? Looked like a suss post?
  20. It's a friggin quiche without the green bits?
  21. Farkn love it. Bit small though
  22. Was a caravan involved?
  23. Needs a firemans pole from the WIR to the garage. You just know J@T wants to play Batman
  24. On the Tassie trip there were a few times I ran out of gas and had to keep off boost (rather than pull over and chuck in the petrol tune - allow about 10mins to flash, but has a small chance of failing and stranding me for the next hour). I feel your pain.
  25. Just covering bases in case (I know it's hard to fathom, but, god forbid - it does occasionally happen) he's wrong incorrect. edit: corrected phrasing (wrong was too strong a word)
