  11. my dad bought a BF turbo ute in december last year, ZF box, 16000kms for $32k, he got from Brisbane, was a forum members car. so there are well priced example to be found, u just have to be patient I spose. it took me 3 months to find my ute, 2 trips to melb, and 1 to adelaide, but I finally found one for the right price

I grew up on a block, been driving/riding cars, tractors, motorbikes solo since I was about 7... Having done so has given me an advantage as I had the chance drive a car before I got my L's, which some of the kids in the city dont have the opportunity to do so, I reckon it made it easier to concentrate on the road conditions as opposed to trying to learn how to drive a car at the same time. In 10 years time when I am 31 I may look back and think differently about my current skill level behind the wheel..
  13. I bought a Sidchrome kit and have been really happy with it. The only real difference between Kincrome and Sidchrome is the way the metal is tempered. The Kincrome are a softer metal, and will 'bend' and will lose its shape if u apply excessive force, whereas the Sidchrome will snap as they are harder and more brittle... I am pretty sure both brands come with a life time replacement warrenty anyway, they will replace it with a brand new spanner/socket etc. except if u lose it...
  14. I have been happy with my local Ford dealership so far, I supply my own oils and just leave them with instructions on what I want done, and it has been done no worries. I also told them the last time they had it please be extra careful as I only picked it up from the panel beaters half an hour ago (I had the rope hook holes welded and smoothed and the tub painted) and the service manager even let me drive it off the hoist when I picked it up, and told me they replaced some stuff under warranty I didnt even know about
  15. this I would also like to know, I have heard of mkii having better valve springs, but not conrods... I thought it was BF 1 had the phoon springs and BF2 got the better rods to....
  16. wouldnt u have to have had generic tunes from more than one (or all) of the choices on the list to make a fair comparison?? I had CAPA generic tunes in my box, and the 8psi killed my clutch time for new clutch and custom tune
