  4. XR6T's are the next version of the VL turbo, except they were 600kg's lighter... If he is running 250 and you have 290 and you weigh 1700kg's and he weighs 1100kg's then work out the power to weight yourself and add the fact you not racinbg a Expensive Daewoo but a nissan motor. Unless your a haul ass driver I would say the Nissan VL has ya beat

The 210 is a great plane, with good airspeed simply because you can pull the wheels up.. It really is just a 182 with retractables for 100k more.. The 182 with a good wog tune would flog the 210 wheels out and all Havent even looked at a 210 cause it is outta my league at this stage, but I know where you are coming from Daz

I am flying the beech on tuesday.... However it apparently has the 350hp race tuned motor currently residing under the hood.. I have always found that a beechcraft (no matter what style single screw) overtuned is hard to hold takeoff direction down the runway on full-power takeoff. Higher powered engines and narrow landing gear probably greatly contribute to this instability. Also have found the rudder to be very sensitive unless under hard load. Unfortunately they have to use partial power for take off until airborne which restricts runway availabilty. I reckon that it's no F-4 but it is a very stout, honest, machine What are your thoughts?
  19. Just give us a look then.... Or start a poll....... Chris does listen to us plebes as well Show us were your up to..!!

Maybe this, ots of hours on it though and not sure if the have IFD's (in flight doors) Does have 2 screws though Send me broke faster than an F6 Always had a soft spot for the cherokee.. Waaaay to many hour though.... And less than the price of a new car The Indian Used to have shares in an old Beech Bonanza... This one would fly OK but I would get over the little motor in about 1 week Cheap beech

Very nice Way outta my price tag though... I prefer the piper over the cessna for comfort but a 182 is a better jump platform
  22. mbjunior99 I am a bit concerned you are becoming an overposter..... I have 200 hours fly and over 600 jumps up my sleeve, and in the wet 300+ is just not doing it for me..
