Well the guys who sell the rotas havent got back to me yet about the colours so now I'm all up in this thread Do these need different offsets to the rotas or will I be able to do 2.2.2s in 9.5 (guards are already lipped) at the front with +22 and a 245 tyre, and 10.5 on the rear (guard rolled) +34 and a 275 maybe 285 tyre? I'm having trouble working out how offsets work if no ones picked up on it. Cheers

Rota Wheels, Who's Got Them And What Size's Ba-Bf
Gotta double check even though I did read through most of the thread, will these offsets be alright: GRIDs 19x8.5 +25 and 19x9.5 +35 obviously I need to roll the rear guards but otherwise they should be fine shouldnt they? and with that said fitting 275's to the rears wont be a massive hassle will it?

Gotta dig this back up, I just had the inspection done for the quote but havent recieved the price yet. The guy said they would repaint the boot and front door to match the rear quarter and rear door that have faded so it doesnt look all patchy, is this excessive? He pretty much ended up saying the whole car bar bumpers and roof would need doing (long scratch on other side as well) and that having bonnet re done that has some stone chips would be $250. I haven't actually been to panel beaters before, is he trying to get easy work out of me? He did say I can just choose what I want done out of the quote but like I said I'm really not sure. I know I'll have to wait for the price because it really depends on how much they want to charge, and going off the bonnet if it ends up being under 2g I may as well but what do others think?

I was actually looking at surge's as well but I only drive it once/twice a week and keep a full tank so that's not really worrying me at the moment, I suppose I'll go exhaust, intake and retune when I get around to it. And yeah I know about the BA bottom ends.

Thought I may as well add mine in. I bought it pretty much as is but it was exactly what I was after so I'm not in a huge rush to change anything...yet. T56 with 150000ks, I wasn't sure about the K's but it was a highway work car in its former life and its held together for 4 years of tune and I couldnt fault anything on it so heres where I ended up. Pulled 314kw/750ish NM at ESP in queanbeyan with a big exhaust leak off number 1 cylinder which I've now fixed so I'd say its not far off the 321 it pulled 4 years ago on its initial tune. Go fast bits are Fuel pump Typhoon valve springs 660cc Injectors AVO Turbo piping and intercooler Filthy open pod filter Cat w 3" single exhaust 14.5psi I'm torn between just enclosing the pod or for going turbo side intake because, its pretty loud on boost now and moar jet would be good.

Exhaust Manifold Gasket Replacment
Hey guys, short and sweet, will there be enough room/give to replace the gasket between head and manifold by undoing just the manifold bolts or will I need to undo more? Cheers

Changes To Inatke With Tuned Car
Yeah I was leaning towards yes, I just wanted to make sure because it still has an xcal 1, so I'll need to get the 3 now, but a retune with a better intake surely can't hurt seeing as it was last done about 4 years ago.

Changes To Inatke With Tuned Car
Hey guys, gotta bare with me, new to turbo/high powered cars. So I currently have a aftermarket cooler setup retaining factory style pipes, at least mostly seeing as the cold side comes through under the battery, but I want to change to an under battery, which will require new coldside piping and possibly hot side, which may be running from turbo to passenger side, havent checked precise run yet. Will it need a retune if I changed these?

What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
Replaced the missing nuts from the 3 of 5 remaining on the rear of the turbo from when I only just noticed the massive exhaust leak yesterday.

XR6 Turbo Fuel Consumption: Real-World Economy Figures
My computer reads 17 and a halfish and going off odo I'm only getting 300 maybe less to a tank in 80/20 urban/highway driving (havent gone anywhere long range yet), with not a lot of street bashing, by my calculations (which are probably wrong) that should be around the 20l per 100 mark.
