My car has done exactly the same. Behaves like you are trying to start it in drive instead of park. It did it about 8 or 9 times. Nizpro checked everything and could not find anything wrong with it. Has not done it for about 5 months now so maybe sorted itself out. Had us all confused why though.

You're a nutter Matt. Why cant you just leave me up top on my own. Lol! Btw good idea in sorting out driveline. Fcker seems to always find next weakest component to bust. My new tail shaft is back in. Even had signs of stress in the tube.

Yeah VW r fn well made cars. As or tail shaft it was the centre bearing that failed...............................twice. Not sure what GJ drivelines have in mind. They will do one for me and one for Nizpro drag car.

Well done FF. Canterbury rd it was. Heading to Nizpro to drop car off to wait for strengthened version of strengthened tail shaft. I was in a VW Tiguan. Turbo charged of course. The difference in fit and finish and sound system etc is chalk and cheese. Had trouble staying with my car though even though she was driving it like a girl:)
