I never use anything else but BP Ultimate. Always.

battery no' a' good matey..... check terminals as well....they can corrode over time..and certainly wear...

that ute of yours looks awesome. Those rims are unreal. I'm thinking of getting rear spacers to push out my standard rims a bit...cheaper than 3k

I've removed mine several times, it's really easy. You won't break anything if you are gentle.

yeah, I'm pretty sure it does. I can check error codes etc on my XCAL3. I know the aren't cheap, but are versatile.

does the xcal3 do that? If it does, least you can tune your car on it as well.

UPDATE: Well after eating my own words for 2 days I have some news..... PROBLEM SOLVED! I'm so happy. Etheridge Ford replaced all 4 Tyres and now the ride is sooooo much better. I'm over the moon about it. I was so stressed about the possibility of a bad driveshaft/tailshaft or hubs/brakes/uni joint, and that it would never be sorted out. Thank you to those who commented and tried to help me out. I hope this can help others, it honestly didn't feel like the tyres were the problem, but they clearly were. Thanks all, one happy camper over here!

are the tyres on the 19's new as well? I agree with the above, check your tyres/wheels are balanced correctly first. Go back to the 18's and see if that solves it. Upper control arms will play up on both 18's and 19's or whatever...it won't be fussy.... I have heard 19's are more harsher ride on the roads...not sure whether that could effect anything? don't have 19's so can't really comment...

UPDATE: Ford Australia gave the go-ahead for 4 new tyres. Getting them fitted right now. I hope to god this fixes it. Cross your fingers for me guys!

what do you mean engine from the driveline? are you saying it eliminates only the Engine, everything else is still turning. I would have thought it eliminated the gearbox too? I know the tailshaft would still spin, as would the axles etc...

oh, so the dunlops didn't come on all XR's as standard?

Well, I got a phone call an hour ago, from Ford Dealer, saying they have found the problem. 3 out of the 4 tyres are bad, and need replacing (flat spots) and are going to replace all 4 tyres. I'm not sure whether they are right or not, but I hope so. They rekon they can't do anything till Ford Australia agree to it, hopefully early next week will be when they are fitted. Not sure if I believe this to be the solution, but I wasn't there when they put on a different set of rims/tyres..so I am always sceptical. Fingers crossed this IS the issue, and I'll be a happy chappy once again.

Update: Ford have the car again today, going to change the whole set of rims and tyres with a different set and see if that is the issue. I doubt it is but...... I said to them, "and if it's not the tyres.......?" Didn't really have an answer for me.... Not that confident they will sort it out today....but fingers crossed.

Ford were no help. Surprise surprise. The could feel the shake/vibration but all they did was carry on how it was the run out in the tyres. The switched around all 4 tyres 180 degrees so inside is now outside. Made no difference (which I said it wouldn't!) So frustrated, had the car there all day and they did bugger all. Gonna call Mick @ Pitlane today, see if he can check it out. So upsetting, cause it's the only gripe I have with the ute. No sqeaks, rattles or anything.
