  1. whats the deal with E85, do you run a seperate tank and switch over like gas? or do you run the petrol down and then fill her up?
  2. Cracked 500 with a 502 and backed up with a 501 so I was happy with that!
  3. saw a post where someone said something about compressor wheel upgrade and I soiled my pants with a screw driver in hand running out to the car.... thanks dude!
  4. Hey guys, upgrading from a 3" under battery cai to a 4" air box style intake. any upgrades necessary to handle the increased air hitting the turbo?
  5. hey mate,

as stated in the post, you dont need to relocate the battery for the pipe, if you want it just shoot me a PM, $30 bucks for post

  6. 3", Rough price off aus post is $30, when it is boxed I will get a definite quote, but work with that ballpark

  7. the ute blokes in caboolture did mine and did a great job.
  8. Hey guys, Looking at upgrading my exhaust, will not be doing it by halves so im going for a full turbo back system. I am looking at these 2 brands, Xforce TCP auto Has anyone had any experience with TCP exhausts? and which size is going to be able to produce more power? 4" dump - 4" cat - 4" mid to 2 1/2 split cat back. 4" dump - 3 1/2 cat - 3 1/2 cat back thanks, Dave
  9. Fitzy, I was in your boat a few months ago, heres is 2 pieces of advice. 1/ The easiest mod by far, the F6 air box with a K&N, should be able to pick this up from anywhere in-between 200-300, if you feel like cutting holes in your air airbox, you can pick the second snorkel up for up to $100 and the filter for about $120. This mod will offer a difference of maybe 10-15kw with a tune. 2/ Take the Nike approach, as in "Just do it" that's what I did. process west stage 3, exhaust and a tune, then you make around 500rwhp and you can sit back and watch your gay mates catch up.
  10. Hey everyone, was just wondering how much a set of 4, 18inch ford wheels from the BF magnet ute go for? they have some minor gutter rash on only a few sections but otherwise no damage, have been told they are in very good condition. They have rubber on them, 2 have about 80% tread, the other 2, not much. here is a pick of what design they are. thanks for your help!
  11. Car: BF XR6 turbo ute Trans: 6 speed auto Power: 365rwhp Boost: 12psi Induction: Process west stage 3 intercooler, Process west under battery cold air intake, K&N pod filter, Throttle body relocation, Hot side pipe, Turbosmart BOV. Turbo: Stock Valve Springs: Stock Exhaust: Stock, hoping to make up close to 500rwhp with an Xforce. Fuel system: 60lbs injectors. Power Add: Tuned by RealDyno Performance.
  12. well said mate. thanks for the advice
  13. Dont you hate that!? well the mods I ended up getting were, 60lbs injectors Process west stage 2.2 stage 2 cooler under battery K&N Pod straight onto the turbo throttle body relocation and a 12psi tune, tuned by RDP. Yeah im stoked with the power, its pretty restricted at the moment by the stock exhaust. Rudiger, can you elaborate a bit on what you had in mind? Its a magnet edition ute so it has a premium brake package on it, the only other thing I can think of is maybe new sway bars.
  14. Yeh mate didnt do the cat this time around. for 2 reasons. 1, I would love to put a full system on it and didnt wanna pay for fitting a cat and then pull it apart in 6 months 2, im stoked with 370 at the wheels (276kw dillz ) and will get used to this power before I head for round 2, in which I will do the fuel pump and waste gate actuator aswell. Ill hit the round about 300 -320rwkw mark and then start and think about internals before going any harder.
  15. WELL!! the update. Springs did NOT need doing, it is an 04/06 BF1 which is now tuned to 370rwhp, with stock springs, apparently they are nice and healthy and should see my up to the 300rwkw mark!
  16. any reputable suspension shop will do it. Bruce Mclean's in caboolture do some great lowering options at a good price.
  17. all these stories make me want to drop an atomic motor in and not worry about it
  18. Go blue team.
  19. ohhh im getting one of these! cant wait
  20. Yeah possibly, ill talk it over with my tuner on tuesday arv!
  21. although he did stress that the they are by far a quality spring and that high kms and abuse will cause the need for replacement. maybe this is why the early BF's need them? assumed abuse and or high k's?
  22. Spoke to ford directly and found out that the valve springs are the same model code from BF to BF2 including the F6. hope this ends the debate
  23. pre 06/06 by 2 months! yeh I would be happy with 270.
  24. and put fuel in the tank.
  25. Hey guys, Getting some work done next week at RDP and was wondering what sort of power you would expect to see from these mods, ill post the dyno sheet up when I get it back and we will see if anyone was close! 06 BF xr6t ute Car as it is now - stock, with an F6 cai box and K&N panel filter. no tune. Car when it is done on wednesday! - Process west stage 2 intercooler, 42lbs injectors, tuned by lee at RDP. Where do you reckon this should put the car?
