it is a ute, that I drive everyday. so I really want to stop modding around the 350 rwHP mark, 400 max. I am hoping that with a good tune in that power range I should be safe. even so, I may just get it done and never have to worry about it. thanks so much for everyones advice!

Hey guys, going to start modding my BF XR6turbo ute. its built before 06/06 so I lucked out on the f6 bottom end. However! I was wondering... If I upgrade to a bigger intercooler (about the same size as an F6) and put the F6 air induction system on it. running at stock boost (5psi) will I run any risk of doing the dreaded damage of breaking a conrod? what is the best way to avoid this? whilst working towards actually upgrading the rods themselves? what should I avoid doing? thanks guys, Ben

Do NSW laws state that the vehicle not only has to be NA, but can't exceed a certain Kwattage per Ltr of the motor?

@Vevapower - Mate one gauge looks great! A quick note to everyone looking to buy these gauge pods! dont be caught out be people saying they are genuine FPV The genuine FPV pod actually holds 2 different sized gauges and it has 2 silver rings that go over the front! In regards to getting them wired up. These cars are electrical nightmares, so if you have no experience in this field, just get an auto electrician to do it.

Depends what dealers you are going to, a Ford dealer SHOULD* have good quality T's on the yard, I bought my BF XR6t magnet Ute, with premo sound, leather, momo ford wheel, dual zone, prestige paint, 18's. stock as a rock with 49000kms, for $22490 drive away. THEY ARE OUT THERE! and you will know as soon as you see it! I wasnt even in the market for a car and have always loved the BA/BF shape in a ute. Hey mate, Xcite do the best gauge mount in my opinion! they can be found on ebay! they supply a 1 or 2 way pod which is moulded to fit a 52mm gauge. They sit really nice and point right at the driver! Gauges are glowshift from the USA, 7 interchangable colours but I find I only use one anyway. Pod - $150 Gauges - $120 Install - $160 heres a pic.
