  1. go to the nizpro website...theyre building a serious ute themselves... apparently using a skyline IRS. But yeah...why supercharging?? Turbocharging is much more efficient..but ..if youre after a challenge...why not. As for the no issue with cost... why dont you choose a ferrari???
  2. after going for a spin in my mates Bf2 Im definitely getting a nizpro xcal tune. The car still has the standard intake & exhaust with only a Typhoon intercooler & redrilled injectors added... the thing makes 295rwkw on 1bar & still has standard drivability characteristics. Only thing that worries me is rumours of driveline failures with the extra power added. A mate of mine who manages the Peterwarrens service shop reassures me that hes had a few modded BA's starting to sift into the Warrick Farm workshop with converter bolts broken & flexplate cracks in most. Has anyone had any of these dramas with the BF's using the ZF's? Has anyone also had dramas with any other driveline components? cheers
  3. has not set their status

  4. are you sure the rears are that big?? didnt measure them but are the rears bigger dia than the front...curious
  5. Hi All, welcome me back to the Blue Oval... sold the Skyline & headed back Home...feels good!!! Anyhow...just serviced brakes (saved myself a fortune) of course Im a licenced mechanic...dont want to void that warranty...:(.. with new RDA rotors & EBC red pads. Ive got a BF2 turbo update with 323mm front rotors...but surprisingly standard rear rotors & calipers...found this out cause the turbo rear pads I was given were much larger than what was found on the car(by the way the receipt says these pads are also the same as RX8 rears...true??). My car is an ex cop...surprisingly well looked after I must ad (hardly any bash marks on the undercarriage)& Im guessing that the force optioned these rear brakes to help with running costs (same as the fact it only had 17' wheels instead of 18,s that the updates came out with). Just curious if anyone else has found this out & im guessing that theres no real need to upgrade to the bigger rear brakes. Just with the changes made to the front (slotted rotors & ebc pads)the brakes have improved noticably & am more than happy with the increased stopping power. Only downside is noise...they do squeal a fair bit...anyone else find this as well? Made sure the backing strip was on the pads but this didnt stop the noise. Oh well at least the cars nice to drive. so glad I didnt buy a 'dore
  6. I used to work @ Dana & Id seen some stupid decission making from Broadmeadows that made me wonder why I ever stayed true Blue. How many of you BA guys out there had your diffs were constantly in the repair shop.. Ford thought Koyo bearings would be the CHEAPER solution.... this IDIOTIC decision to distance itself from the most winning team at the moment is quite consistant with their past ideas... just as lame- brain as dumping the V8 back in 85...or there abouts. Have any of the administrator thought of getting a letter of disapproval sent on our behalf to the hierachi?? Lets get a petition together people!!!
