  1. ha ha, no way it's all about the brand name and much it cost.

good stuff. probably the cleanest/easiest 10.4 I've ever seen. hooked up well, might be different if you stalled it hard though. what was the 60. well done.

keen to see how it goes at the strip. good luck
  4. good stuff. I think you've done well to go that quick with that mph, does seem quite low?
  5. you really need to sort out the overheating/power loss thing. should go a lot quicker. done well getting off the line with no wheels spin on street tyre's. sounded like a fun night

  10. looking good man. what are you hoping to run? should go well into 10's... are the rear prostars 5.5bs? they seem to fit ok? what bs are the fronts

hey kent, is there any photos of the cage in your ute somewhere. I've looked through this thread and couldn't see any. would it be to hard to take a few..
  13. not quite the same, but very similar. I went 10.86 @ 126 in an au xr6 turbo, gt3582r, c4. it's not 9.92, but still pretty quick for a ute.
  14. congratulations, that's unreal. looks tuff leaving the line

this can't be a standard diff though is it.
  16. how wide is the track stainless? would they fit if you had the normal tub on...
  17. I ended up cutting down chasers to 4" for the front. for the rear you need 6" b/s, which you can't get. so I widened them to 8", and changed the offset for the rear.
  18. awesome effort. an amazing time for what is essentially a tuff street car.
  19. well done, that's alot of power to try and put down coming out of corners. what's been done to the engine.
  20. thanks slash, but I can't seem to find any weld rim's with that bs
  21. another one here. I like reading about tuff car's, not dude's on l's dreaming of tuff car's. hat's off to you if you get there, but drag's down the section a bit.
  22. L's what the. can imagine your mum in this thing teaching you how to drive "no I said to indicate not the transbrake"
  23. hi all. was wanting to know what back space and width people use for their front runner's, over standard ba brake's. I've even seen 15" chaser's chopped down. any info would be great. cheer's

well yeah, if you make a new leaf it's easy. as for the rubber bit, I'm sure there is one over the head of the bolt that goes up into the diff. not that it matter's if you made a new leaf.

from what I remember. the diff is held in place with the bolt that goes through the leaf pack. so you can't really move it back. unless you took out the rubber gromet thing, then fill the gap somehow.
