yes I am talking about dynamic stability control I have asked ford about it and they said by disconnecting the switch, the light on the dash will stay on as it is a complete circuit the reason why I am asking is cause the missus is getting her p's soon and lol she might start driving like I used to

hey all I know what it is and all but I was just wondering if there is a way that you can leave esp on and not be able to turn esp off with the button on my 07 bf II T. I have searched on here but only to find how to deactivate it I know that ppl hate it being on but lol it has saved me a few times but I dont trust other ppl driving my car in knowing u can turn it off.

just picked up the beast from ford and they said that there is a rubber grommet or mould under the metal plate that was seeping fuel so they said that they resealed it and see how it goes. just thought that id give u guys an update on what they said to me

cheers guys ill have a look when its a cooler weather but the thing is when this happens I am going through more fuel than ever (taking it easy) using 1/2 tank in 130k's its currently at ford for the 4th time now cause I insisted them to come and have a sniff cause when they look at it lol nothing happens but what they said is that it could b high pressure on the fuel pump

hey all I have a bf xr6t (stock) with about 80k on the clock. drove it for about 2 hrs with the aircon on (max) I could smell fuel coming through the vents when I stop at the lights. when I got home I could smell it on the drivers side so I poped the bonnet to have a sniff (but nothing) had a wounder to the passengers side same nothing I could only smell it on the drivers side (regardless from the drivers door to the boot with no wind). I know the fuel line is on the passengers side, had a look and didnt see any drips (left car running) took it for another 2 hr drive without the aircon on but to my suprise there was nothing. Had the car for about a year now and it only does it during hot weather and the aircon on. I took it to ford a few times when it was doing it but when I booked it in for them to have a look it never seems to do it for them. have any of u had any of these probs if so could you plz tell me what u have done to fix it as I have kids and dont want them to get harmed from the fumes

I learned my lesson when I took my bf to ford for its 60k service everything was sweet untill about 2 weeks later I couldnt take my front left wheel off (as it was flat) I rung up nrma they tried to undo them (but couldnt) so I had it towed back 2 ford as all 20 studs where cross threaded they tried to get me to pay for it but when I told them they did the tyre rotation they r the 1ns who stuffed up but in the end I still had to pay as they said that I didn't have any proof that they did it and not me.

but what I was told was prior to installing the cooler u should disconnect the negative terminal so the ecu picks up that there is a slight difference in the airflow heh if that's true

I just fitted 1 on my bf and the piping was the same just had a lil prob with the bracket but I found a piece of metal about 2mm thick bent it drilled the holes so it fits onto the cooler and the previous hole on the body works like a charm

A mate of mine has a ba xr6 but what he did was put the gt body kit and the bonnet and now he is taking it all off due to him getting pulled over all the time with the cops and asking him if it is an 6t or an 8. I was going to work with him for about 2 months and he was averaging 2-3 times getting pulled over and he is getting sick of it

in my bf 11 6t I have about 75k and get around 12.8 city driving with a slight thrash and 9.1 highway driving with cruise control but when I bought mine with 45k it was using 16.2 city driving and around 13.4 highway

I had a look in the manual they say that it is due to the tranny fluid being hot or the fluid is low

just came back from ford with the shuddering issue tried to explain it to them they are trying to tell me that even with the stability control on it will still become active if it senses that the car is going to loose control but when I said that when I kick it out (on a private lot) that it doesnt do anything heh could this be true or is he just spinning crap so they dont have to repair it??

nah your right it has a zf6 but was also quoting for a mate who has a ba xr6 4 speed but with the bf 6t diff (the ratio he has is to high for eg 1st gear 100k's) lol on a another quote when I spin in the wet in 1st (without stability on) the left rear seems like its jumping there is a loud thudding noise and the car is shaking if I go sideways (either side) its smooth I have had all the bushes and the 2 rear shocks replaced but was thinking that the bearings are gone or could it b something else.

hey all I have an bf xr6t and would like a little more power by increasing the psi on the turbo without having to upgrade the cams and springs because I am later planing on buying a typhoon top end motor before I do any upgrades onto the motor. I think the car is stock as it is an ex cop car not to sure cheers in advance
