  1. whoooops... mis read my last pot! haha I was forgetting you'd probably need crow springs etc, so yeah, it'll be around $1300 for fitment/ re tune
  2. $1200 for custom tune/ Xcal 3 flash box vs. whole new engine rebuild.... I'd put my money on the custom tune/ tuning unit any day
  3. Jeeeessssuuss...... $1300???? wow... Ben I'll message u mate, it's no where near $1300
  4. My old BA made an embarrassing 176rwkw after tune and work it made 330rwkw
  5. This thread is entertaining... time to throw some bread into the mix and watch the seagulls fight.... 1.. 2.. 3... BEGIN!
  6. Good work mate! you'll be opting for more power very soon! As for Bruce's dyno. anything under 400kw, it read's pretty much spot on. Even over 400, J@'s F6 made 430 on bruce's and 412 I think on Mick's Dyno (pit lane) so to be honest, it's stuff all difference when you're pushing that much power!
  7. To be honest, If tuned correctly, these cars are docile as stock when just cruising around. I'm pushing 450+ and even when I got the foot flat, spinning through gears, it's easy to handle. Sure, at times it feels like my car wants to kill me, but that's becuase my right foot is sitting a little heavy on the gas. As soon as I just drive it normally, you wouldn't even tell its tuned.
  8. you're all OHMOS.... Jokes.... Love u all
  9. I have the rear muffler delete w/ custom cats. It sounds a lot better than my mates system he had done (cost him $3500) I cant get a vid atm, cause im getting my gearbox rebuilt. But as soon as it is on the road I'll post one up
  10. 1. What size injectors? 2. Is it the Herrod pulley upgrade? 3. I'd do the rear muffler delete if I was you. with those mods alone John (fpvboss335) made 405rwkw (without the intercooler) If Rob's tuning your vehicle, you'll probably push 400-410rwkw on a safe conservative tune
  11. It works... 100%... 80% of the time I enjoy giving the ute a squirt here and there... no wait, that's a lie.. I do it all the time! haha
  12. On E85 with 80% of the time WOT, I'm getting around 250-280km/s a tank. But E85 only costs me $1.06 per litre
  13. J@snot tuning FTW!
  14. I'm not initially blaming Herrod, I just don't think it was balanced correctly when installed as well. so two faults are to blame here
  15. The standard diffs are fine. my Ute's diff loves the abuse haha. now and then it'll open up so I just slam up a gear and it'll lock again. Although in saying that, my centre bearing is Fuaarkked... the Herrod heavy duty tail shaft wasn't balanced correctly and it's caused all kinds of issues now
  16. yepp... John and Our cars are in the "hospital" as we call it haha!
  17. Bruce is flat stick atm! I know my gearbox will be taking a while to get repaired :(
  18. No one steal my idea of Work Meisters
  19. 8F in the mid @22psi FTW
  20. that's lucky! mine bakes 4th :( first 3 gears are useless!!
  21. If you want power down low, and a reliable tune with plenty of assistance if somethings ever goes pear shaped, then Bruce is your man. He's tuned two of my cars. an 05 BA XR6T which made 330rwkw and now my GS ute, which is pushing over 450+ rwkw. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!
  22. Lol... good luck mate! even my Herrod "heavy duty" shaft cracked the centre bearing :/ but at least its getting all fixed up for free!
  23. Up at bruces yesterday it looked like a grave yard of new cars haha! with shauny's F6 sitting there.. and John's GT, and then mine with a not so happy herrod tail shaft
