Sorry about the damage Zap. I was out driving at aroudn 6:00pm and heading home and got some more larger than pea size hail coming down. I quickly pulled under a group of trees on the side of the road. I actually havent looked to see if I got any dings yet though. Maybe I will build up the courage to go after breakfast. Wayne

People, Was driving my car the other night on a private road at around 200km an hour. When at some time after the 200km mark the 'D' on the dash started to flash. The orange engine warning light came on flashing. Then no matter what I did with the gear selector ( auto ) going to Adp or PER or selecting a gear it wouldnt do anything. So car come to stop, restarted and workgin fine again. Thoughts? Wayne

Serge, Ok being fathers day and all. Would it be cool to say organise for my dad to meet us at the train to come along for the train trip as well. If so then maybe some other people may think it a good idea to bring there dads as well. Mine dad for one is a huge train buff so I think he would love to come. If people dont mind. I feel that the Constant push in the back the T gives is much more exciting to drive than the monaro I was in recently. I have never been in an XR8 to compare. The torque down low in the makes it a very fun car to drive even at slower speeds where the same G force rush isnt felt in the 8 until you get going at 5000+ rpms. Wayne

Dont know what everyone is planing accomodation wise so far. But I was thinking that maybe Caravan parks may be possible. 1. They mostly provide a number of levels of accommodation for all peoples budgets. 2. They are everywhere. 3. They normaly have on onsite bbq area etc for large group dinners etc. 4. I was thinking I might like to tent the trip as I am by myself and this would make the overall trip very cheap. 5. Its almost summer so the temps wont be that bad. Just my thoughts. Hate to do this but it has to be done. I cannot attend this weekend due to other pre arrange events that I must attend. Soccer photos for the kids and a fish club meeting for a show that we are having in August that I am on the organising committee for. OK I would like to confirm my attendance to this event. NO wife on this one just me I am lookign to cut cost where ever possible thou. So anyone who is maybe interested in sharing rooms at motels or on the boat trip over and back as I would like to lie and sleep on the boat. Please contact me and well organise it. hmmmmm Late model camira drivers cant seem to stop trying there luck with me on my way to work every day. Only tonight I was driving to work and a clown in his 6cyl como kept gunning it from the lights, I was jsut driving like I normally do. Flat out till the speed limit then back off. then at one set of lights I was in the left lane of 3 and there was a highway patrol about 150 meters up the road. so I gun it to the 70k limit and change to the centre lane. commo dude goes into right lane and passes me doing around 80k's,m cop pulls away and follows us. OK so we get to the next set and I take off as normal and same thing the commo passes me. Next set of lights I leave the car in first and go all the way to 70 in first( I noramlly change at 60k or so ). I was being a bit more subdued as the cops where there. But this time he is straight on my bum and follows me. So why is it that the cops didnt say anything about the 80k commo but there upset by fast acceleration to the legal speed limit. Oh well. Im not about to change my driving style. Oh yes back on topic. It is only the young a foolish ones that take a shot lately in general, the ones that are out driving mum and dads car on there p's. Hmmmm might get a new sticker made up for my car. The driver of this car hearby claims no responsibility for any speeding, noise, finger gestures or large clouds of smoke coming from the rear tyres. Do you think that covers me from obeying the law? They will pay one way or the other, but you may decide that for $165 that it aint worth the hassle. My paper delivery guy has thrown the paper at my house and so far has boken my letterbox and the antenna on one of my cars. They would have paid for it expect nor I and anyone else saw them throw the paper. So as you have the proof and the statment of previous instance for valet guy. You are all set. Good luck Wayne

Yes the red lights. A guy that I work with was there and he cut a 3.99 light in the first round and run 2 hundreths over his dial in. would have had the opposition on toast if he didnt red light. OH well that's racing hey. Wayne

So seeing as I havent been on many cruises. What do we do if it rain on this one. Go somewhere like the leagues club adn spend all day there. I hope it isnt raining, would be ok snowing I will put the tobogan in the car jsut in Case ( I am not joing ) for some fun if it does by the off chance as well as my snow gloves and goggles Bring it on. So anyone who can tell me and others what to ask for when we go to joe blows parts shop can you please tell me. I have put off doing this as I am unsure as what the light even looks like. OK then KK meetup it is then I am not very experienced with driving to windsor road up the cumberland at this tim eof the day. So I would say that if we arrive at 7:30 am and leave at 7:45 we should have plenty of time to get there - 45 minutes. Mind you it might only take 30minutes max to get there fomr KK tops. BUt its better to be safe than sorry I guess. I anyone thinks I am totally wrong. Let me know So I will be arriving at KK at about 7:30am drinking my coffee and eating my morning dohnuts.
