I saw you as I was turning on the highway, then I saw the rest of the gang and decided to follow for a little while. I tested the accelerator against the guy in the black xr6t but he was a bit too fast for me.

Tonight around 8:00 I saw a few xr6t's (silver with a chrome boot garnish & black) a fg ute (black) and a F6 (bionic) cruising from the spit heading towards the casino. Is it anyone from here?

Howdy, Like teh title says, I got a BF 06/06 xr6t just shy of 60k. my tranny clonks when I put it into reverse (only sometimes though), regardless of whether it is on a hill or on flat ground. Im really not sure whats going on, just the other day I was towing a trailer, just some garden waste nothing too heavy and it was flairing between gear changes, mainly between 1 and second then second to third when going up some hills. has only done it once with out the trailer on the back of the car. I got no idea whats going on, I only just bought the car and its still under warranty. What do ya reckon ford will do about it?? im going to take it in there for the 60k service anyway I just hope fraud dont shaft me as the warranty is running out soon. Cheers Ant

+1 for what 1 of 5 said. Im only young at 24 but, I do alot of shooting especially in the International practical shooting confederation (IPSC). I participate every weekend and shoot in national comp's etc and there are guys who are in their 60's and 70s' mainly with knee problems doing better than alot of the young guys and there is generally alot of running etc involved. I dont think there is a time to give up playing sport at any certain age, unless health prohibits you. keep going especially if you enjoy it.

150k is a bit of a rip off the w427 is more targeted towards Expensive Daewoo purists. There should be some easy power gains from the LS7. maffless tune and a few other goodies will see some nice gains.

I drive mine every day, about 3km's to work then run around town doing jobs etc. The T is much better on fuel than my previous Expensive Daewoo v8 so I can afford to go on 300-500km 'getaways' on the weekend.

Im 23, got a 06 bf xr6t on a novated lease and im about half way through paying off my mortgage.

which gearbox do you have?

Howdy it seems like a nice car, although the k's are quite high. Honestly I wouldnt pay more than 17.5-19k for the car. (I know its a wide range but I dont know what condition the car is in). red book says that model is worth $18,800 - $21,000 with an average km of 60,000 to 100,000kms. I just paid 24k for a xr6t 06/06 with 50k so you should be able to get something better for the amount u are spending. cheers ant

narrrrrr, I wanna see who has the faster stock car just yesterday I was at my brothers place and he told me to nail it as I was leaving. So I stalled it up and 'attempted' to leave in a large cloud of smoke, little did I know that xr6's have traction control I only found the button a few hours ago.

I hope I do, but in a way I reckon the ss might win, 260kw and its a ute so its lighter. buy after a few mods ill give him a run for his money

Cheers everyone thanks for hte nice comments Im not touching it for the moment, my brother has a newish vz ss 6.0l ute also with no mods, so we're going to take our cars to willowbank to runr the quarter and see what the results are fingers crossed the xr6t will take the cake After ive done that, im looking getting all the normal stuff, airbox mod, injectors, intercooler and piping, exhaust, custom tune. but all of that will take quite some time. no changing the wheels/mags I like the sleeper look
