Gear Box Replaced
Cheers Dan... good info mate! Gearbox is good, just slip / flaring whatever you call it 2nd to 3rd change under WOT... may just need a good service or it could be the clutches are worn. Will drop in there next time I'm out that way during the week! See what he thinks. Maybe able to do some preventative maintence before the whole box goes Hey I think I see your car now an then in the carpark near Canning vale Dome... got the forum sticker on the front window? Oh... OP, sorry about the thread hijack!

WA Spotted & Chit Chat Thread
Hey Colin... I'm in Canning vale... its well established now, hence a little more expensive than its surrounding suburbs that you could get for less as are they are still developing such as Southern River, Harrisdale, Piara Waters... I'm hoping to sell up in a few years and build in one of those area's... take a drive through these ones I mention to see if the area suits, IMO good value housing and they are virtually new.

Tune And Then A Trans Cooler 1 Month Later.

What Have I Done? - Wife's 03 Ba Xr6 Turbo
Just to add my 2 cents... your modifications once you have the injectors fitted will be very similar to mine and I have a custom tune. My advice, do some good research on here first to choose who does your custom tune as its the most important decision you will make, once the Xcal3 and injectors arrive, book it in, get the tuner to fit the injectors and complete the custom tune. You will have power similar to mine (my valve springs are standard and at their limit) and your problems will be resolved. Currently due to the 100cell cat and larger dump pipe is your main cause for overboosting. Believe me, after the custom tune I don't think you will be giving the wife the keys back in a hurry!

Tinted Windows
I have 16% all round and its fine... going that yours has inglass tint would probably bring it down a few % more. The tinter I use next step lighter is 22% and step darker is 10%... in hindsight I probably could have got 16% on sides and 10% on the rear as from the back the rear window doesnt look that dark. So, IMO for you, 22% sides and around a 16% on the rear and you will be happy as it would even it all out and even if still a few shades darker at the rear not a bad thing.

Agreed... from stock to 365rwkw would be mind blowing! Nice work Warchild! Hey Grug... was is the CAI setup your getting?

Injectors
Mate, give Simon a call or check out the website as I think he may have a special on at the moment for Xcal 3 (flashbox) and tune around $1600... but for a little extra will do injectors fitted too for $2000 all up. Tune without injectors upgraded will be about 250rwkw... with injectors around 270rwkw at an educated guess, again depends whether you wanna spend the extra. Call or drop in on Simon and he will give an honest view on what you will achieve for your money. Either way, the difference from stock to a tune is noticable and you will leave XFT with a smile on your dial!

Anyone With King Spring Sl's Please Help!
Hey all... Currently standard XR6 suspension.... middle of rim to guard measurement is 38cm rear and 36cm front... does anyone have SL's fitted to their BA... just want the front and rear measurements from middle of rim to guard. Due to work use cant have it slammed, even though would like to so SSL's etc not an option. Cheers guys and gals!

Mods Time Finally!
Take a look at my signature for ideas mate... it did make 300rwkw but was eased off due to valve float... you wont have to worry about that though having a mk2 BF The actuator upgrade was only added for good measure but you could get by without it. If you also decide to leave the F6 cooler off the list I reckon you will get close to what I'm getting... so Injectors, cat and tune will = Oh and in regard to oil feed line and filter... I had my oil feed filter changed in my service the other day, good maintenance... keep that oil flowing fast to the turbo!!!

Upgrade`options/Opinions
Worms advice is spot on... read over my mods in my signature... I would go a better cooler though than F6 cooler... for the power your after just a HDI or Process West Stage 1. And yeah, don't need cams.

Ba Turbo Sedan - Lowered But Not Low Enough
Looking at the full pic Jas, that's what I would have expected fitting SL front AND rear?!?! As the gap between tyre and guard seem the same front and back. I would have thought SSL rear would have made the rear closer to the tyre. P.S. Nice colour car!
