so guys, how does one change to his alt tune/power tune with this xcal3 thing...ive never seen it done before and would like to know.

yeah wont b racing anytime soon as work enjoys f*cking my life over with weekends and in general also. If I do go to the strip it will be a spur of the moment sort of thing as I cant plan for sh*t with work. thus on monday I leave for 2 weeks after only being back for 1 week from getting back from 3 months in malaysia.

ported turbo with 12psi actuator mod, valve springs, 60lb injectors, 1000hp cooler and plenum kit, 4inch intake with battery in the boot, xforce 4inch dump into 3.5 single exhaust (minus rear muffler), fuel pump, surge tank, zf tune, and cos I blew it up it has stronger rods now (spool rods). probably more stuff ive missed but you get the picture.

haven't tested it out properly as yesterday evening was raining, will try and go out today for a squirt. and its an auto with the zf tune

curious guys, does an engine produce more power once it has "loosened up"? example, a car is rebuilt and after 1000km run in period tuned to 300rwkw. will this car produce more power after say another 5000km? just curious that's all, any light shed on this would be great cheers.

haha, hows the car going anyway? well I had a small drama with mine nearly 6 months ago now....put a rod thru the block! so got another block and put some decent rods in it along with a surge tank and a better cooler with plenum...gets tuned this wednesday going for 18psi

new parts arrived today, fitment and power tune wednesday...its been a long wait! 18psi should b fun

selling my process west stage 1 intercooler kit in about 3 weeks guys, comes with custom 3 inch cold side piping also. $500. have had ~350rwkw with this setup, still currently running it until other goodies arrive. size is 420 flow length x 360 height x 90mm thick.

nah mate, cant wait to get back though, ordering a plazmaman 1000hp cooler and plenum in "stealth" colour...the power tune will be very interesting.

mine was doing the same thing before I handed it into kpm...then BOOM! lol. it was doing the same thing when the built engine was getting its run in tune and bruce said it went away when he loaded a different tune/file in. he thinks it was a corrupted tune. and yes I did change the coils and plugs before all this happened to try and fix it.

yeah the rear muffler is the noise killer...take it out and notice it straight away.

drop the rear muffler and you'll never look back mate!

nah im not keen on this e85, im too lazy lol. ill only be getting a bp 98 tune on f*ck knows what boost. bruce was saying 17psi is the sweet spot? maybe 19 and trail it down to 17? or just stick with 17psi across the the whole tune? what are peoples thoughts?

currently in malaysia for 3 months work. back in feb, the car has 250km's to go until I can get some power out of her. I may have to get a process west stage 3 kit with plenum to get a low boosting 380-400rwkw. im currently running a process west stage 1 cooler with custom 3 inch cold side piping with the stock hotside hose. its pushing 340rwkw on 12psi as is though. what are peoples thoughts?
