  6. I found that at 100kph I will get 10l/100ks 150kph.............14/100ks 160kph..............15100ks I Know this from a 1600klm run in country wa with the cruise control on .(bog standartd xr6t with 3000ks on clock ) Dave

    Tyre's

Put the T in for its 30000k service yesterday and mentioned the splits in my tyres , they said they would get their tyre guy to have a look. When I picked the car up they had replaced two tyres no questions asked and said that they had logged the other two and would check them again at the next service , that's if they last that long. Dave
  8. Yeah mine was doing that as well but is now gone thanks to CAPA flash tuner Dave
  9. Merry xmas everyone Just to let you know recieved my edit on xmas eve . Tried the 8psi boost found as the other guys a lot more power right though the rev range. The idle is smoother but seems to run a lot richer on start up . The auto up changes are a lot smoother . I then tried the 10 psi boost and wow . the acceleration is brilliant the other thing is you can hear the turbo screaming from about 3000rpm with wot .The idle doesnt seem as rich as the 8psi setting, but on start up the idle speed has increased to 2000rpm ,its like you start up with your foot on the gas ,then drops to around 800rpm . . The only puzzling thing is the in the instrucion sheet capa states the kws for 8psi as 300kws and the 10 psi as 350kw is this right ? I suppose the only way to find out is to get it dynoed After running a tank of ultimate I found the fuel consumption has increased but that could be the way I have been driving ,its about 12.5 klms/ 100ks , I was averaging 11 before the edit Dave M
  10. FEB 2004 auto Harsh 2-3 shift replaced solonoid , fixed intermittent rough idle diff whine , told it was within specs and ford aust was working on it??? And the big one Turbo Over boost , ie the engine dies under heavy acceleration. They reflashed the ecu but it still happens occasionaly , was told the factory is aware and are working on a fix. But still sh*ts all over the opposition :
  11. Ive had a similar loss of power its as if its hitting the rev limiter but at 3000 rpm . It only happens on cold mornings when the temp gauge is at about a quarter . After the engine is right up to temp no more probs...
  12. My auto is averaging 11 litres per 100ks around town and on a leasurly country runc (115kph) she averages 10 . I recently did a Perth to Port Hedland trip around 1600 ks sitting on 160kph and somtimes more and averaged 14 litres per 100ks not bad I think for a performance car. Oh and the consumption was calculated not taken of the trip computer.
  13. Whats happeing at burswood next weekend wouldnt mind coming along Dave M
