I was planning to remove the turbo badge so I can make the HSV owners think they got blown away by a n/a. petty I know but, I HATE HSV owners and the only thing that would give me a bigger chubby than beating one is to see the driver sobbing at the next set of lights because he thinks your in a n/a. any thoughts?

I agree, photochop skills look good except for the front wheel. IMO I think if someones car looks like that, its taking it a little too far. It sure does personalise the looks of the car, but given the XR6 is already looks and performs great, why would you do it? Everyone to there own I suppose. What about the headlights?? it was the headlights that gave it away for me! love the bonnet though

Mine has only stalled once. it happened only 5 minutes away from my dealer, after 3 hours of waiting (on works time so its ok) they told me that they had to clean out the VCT system. I dont know if that caused the problem but it hasent stalled since (about 2000k's) the service manager did not sound supprised when I told him. I guess its pretty common??

I voted YES. The only reason I havnt joined a club jet is because I'm waiting for an XR club. As for the people b**ching about 10,000 opinions from 2000 members, I'd just like to point out the fact that in my opinion most people would be happy to just turn up at the events and not get too involved in the running of the club. Im far too busy with work and family to concern myself with all the ins and outs, however I'd love to have events organised that I can goto on a semi regular basis, if for no other reason than to catch up with friends with simular interests to myself. and im sure many other members would fit into this catagory. and on another point, I'd like to see XR & FPV to get full memberships and associate members to all other makes and models.

im still running in my auto T, 1800k's, and the dash tells me that im getting 12.2 L/100k's avg. I dont baby it too much, but having said that, I dont take it over 4000 rpm's either.

I never dreamed I'd own a ford until I took a XR6T for a test drive on the advice of a good friend (im a former WRX owner and was a subaru only person). It only took a couple of minutes into the test drive of the XR6T when I found myself saying to the sales guy, where do I sign!! After this, I came home, jumped on google to research the $53k + purchase I'd just made and this was one of the first sites I clicked on. for the record, I spend more time reading the posts on this site than I've ever spent on any other web site. I no longer call myself a subaru person plus I now make a point to every subaru driver what they are missing out on, its the XR6T all the was for me!! :lol: Well done to the guys responsable for setting this site up, you have done a fantastic job.

now I wish they scratched mine, id be happy with all the freebies well done.

hey I'd say if your tring to impress all the 15 Y.O's out there then go for it. but for me, if I saw a T driving around tring to look "jap" I'd laugh.

I picked up my XR6T 7 days ago, within the first 4 days I took the car back to the dealer because of a noisy diff when the car is holding 90-95km/h. the dealer checked it out for me and said the noise will go away after the bearings wear in, if not they will replace the diff at the 15000 service. my question is: did any one out there notice a noisy diff that fixed it self, or is the dealer just pulling my chain. another reason I took the car back was a vibration at same speeds, I think the two were related, diff out of allignment or something. any thoughts?

mine has full window tinted, looks great, I'd take yours back and tell them to do it properly.
