Wow BCL. It's good to hear comparisons on our cars espcially when it's open and unbiased. One thing for sure you are one lucky bugger for having best of both worlds (Rex & XRT). I agree with you on your judgments these are cars that are Bang for Your Bucks. Either people go with an MY03 or XR6T, they won't be dissappointed. To be really honest, if I had the extra cash, my second car would be an MY03. Rjs

G'Day guys, Thanks Andrew for such a great day. You have put alot of effort to make the day a very enjoyable one. I had a great time. Hope of all you had a great day. By the way I had a good time with 2 BMW's, 99 Mod Rexy, Turbo VW and a Pajero back up those winding roads on the way home. The only car I did't beat was the VW Turbo, by the time I was on him it was too dangerous to overtake. Go the Fords.

I agree Ducatijb it's not an easy job driving these cars.

When I first had my car I was on 26L/100km. Now that's petrol for ya.

I actually spoke to the APS rep @ the FPV Dyno day and they have fitted all types of exhaust systems and found that in terms of power output, instead of gains it was totally the opposite. The std exhaust system on our cars are pretty good in terms of gains. Please correct me if I may have interpret this conversation incorrectly but I think that is the case.

I'd be interested in this Trumpy. Let's work on it mate.

Well, I'd like to thank Kelli and the NSW FPV club for a great day. It was good to chat to most of you guys. Once again thanks for all your hard work and awesome day. Hope to see you guys soon. Also, congrats to DMN 230, 213kw atw, I was so close. Oh well maybe next time. :( Hopefully sometime in the future I could pay APS a visit. Thes APS XR6T is simply awesome, 266atw I think. Oh well, I'll go back to dreaming again.

My car has this problem. Just started recently. Oh well, off to the dealer I go. When you guys say that you can get a Fairmont switch (illuminated) to fix the problem, is it only the drivers side or all of the switches? I hope they replace all.

Yep they are going as well. Rob will be bring his Late model camira down to put on the ramps just for fun.
