Yammies are a great bike, just be careful however, the 426's and 400's are not big fans of water, and as already said they require strict service intervals otherwise you put your fate in your own hands. Reasonable suspension avg brakes but as an all rounder for the bush very consistent and reliable bike. You should pick up a well looked after one for $5k, just shop around. Make sure they are genuine.

You would be just better off changing the Cat, and leave it at that unless you want to gho over 300rwkw. Otherwise like the others I would go the APS. I did much research on exhausts with geea involved, and changed all components and combinations. the best by far was the APS exhaust and that's why I stuck with it. Forthe T I personally would recommend anything else as it ticks all the boxes.

Do a search on the forum and gain as much info as possible. This will help you when discussing the issue with your dealer to show you know what you are on about. It will also prevent you from having the wool pulled over your eyes. Spend some time searching and you will reap the benefits of a path taken by many others already.

Glad to hear you are alright Dave, I always found a swift kick in the qtr panel as they were changing lanes made them take notice, as well as leaving a nice footprint on their to remind them to look! Pure example of why I gave up on the road riding, too manuy fwits on the road that are not educated in driving properly. Alot of people need to spend time in countries where bikes are the majority mode of transport, that's probably the only way they will learn!

Diffs apart form the whine are pretty strong. It's the splines and CV's that are the weakest link, but you have alot more to worry about for they give up the ghost. 350+rwkw

Could'nt give mine away. Ended up getting $30k trade in with 40k on the clock, and fully optioned, immac condition. (Yes that trade in figure was a bloody good price by $3k) If your very lucky you will be able to sell it privately, however these are few and far between, so most people are stuck with trading them in. Won't by another one for that reason, also the fact that the wcar wholesaler said the market is getting flooded with second hand T's now, so they will drop even further. Top it off however, got offered to buy my new car back for $3k more than what I paid for it by the dealer the other day, as they cannot keep up with demand! So I am hoping that trend will continue.

He obviously needs a taste of reality......... I'm gussing he's never been to the drags, as their are a number of T's costing alot less and going alot faster that people could buy. One main flaw in his ad as well is the fact he is running 400hp+ with a T5????? So either the power reading is false or whoever buys it needs to budget for a new box immediately. From experience anything over 280rwkw+ with a T5 means only a matter of time before the big bang theory. 350rwkw+ from seeing Adam and others with similar power I would give it about 5 minutes befor the box goes bang.

If I gave it a hard time at 260rwkw that was it. Lasted about a month or so. Put in a cushion button, drove like stock, felt stock, but could handle 600HP. (Look in my Garage) Cheers JB

JB, surely $4k fitted is just for the fronts add rears and your back to $7k.... so the other JB's ask is not too excessive, but yes you could do marginally better. The advantage I see with this stuff is if you get it fitted by your Ford dealer you may have less dramas with warranty issues. All 4 YCL
