    Job Vacancies

    Good idea!
  3. 159.64rwkw using the 1HP=0.746kw conversion. 51KBA do you have a before and after dyno? The 214rwhp sounds very good but without a base figure it does not mean much!
  4. All XR's, XT's have Warm Charcoal stearing wheels. This includes XTs with the lighter interior too because they had a two tone interior. Two tone XT interior (Warm Charcoal Steering Wheel) <div class='bbimg'> </div>Dark XT and Futura interior (Warm Charcoal Steering Wheel) <div class='bbimg'> </div>Light Futura and XT wagon interior (Dark Stone Seering Wheel) <div class='bbimg'> </div>Dark XR interior <div class='bbimg'> </div>Light Fairmont interior (Dark Stone Seering Wheel) <div class='bbimg'> </div>Dark Fairmont interior (Warm Charcoal Steering Wheel) <div class='bbimg'> </div>This is the ebay Warm Charcoal steering wheel in a LTD <div class='bbimg'> </div>........and I can't find a pic of one with the Dark Stone ebay wheel I also forgot to add that they have different wood inserts too depending on what model the wheel was for. I think that the charcoal colour insert was for the G220 but I can not find a pic! Charcoal wheet with the charcoal insert would be best suited to the XR interior.
  5. These are genuine Ford parts mate, same as you would get at your local Ford Spare Parts!
  6. Those wheels are from the G220 and LTD. The lighter colour is the light brown interior that is in Fairmonts, Fairlanes and LTDs and the dark one is the same as every other dark BA interior. I am very close to ordering one!
  7. Yea I saw the car on carsales.com and the price was pretty good, a lot better then what dealers what for them. I am pretty sure it has 18 inch rims?? Looked very nice.
  8. Welcome mate! The avator pics looks familiar! Did you get your car from the auctions, red auto with 18s??
  9. My car is an auto and made 137rwkw stock. The other car that I beleive is the one that is tuned and made 179rwkw is an auto too. I feel like taking my car for a run just to see what it will do. Motor has ran a mid 15 in a auto BA XT. I thought the extra 40rwkw in the above car would be worth more then half a second over 400m!
  10. Simon here in WA has tuned an NA BA XT. This car has a full exhaust, intake and a custom tune and it pulled 179rwkw from memory. But before the tune it pulled something like 169rwkw from memory, the thread is over on ff.com. The 169rwkw sounds high for an NA with just exhaust as a stock NA pull about 135-140rwkw, mine did 137rwkw. Don't quote me on the figures above as I could be wrong! Also I am 90% sure that I have seen the above car at the Motorplex on a number of nights and the best that I have seen it run was 14.9X. The car looks very very slow of the line and then seems to make a bit of ground from mid track. The auto and tall diff don’t half. I think the XR6 with a shorter diff would be much better. Might be worth sending Simon a PM and asking him for more details as there is not a lot of detail about NA tuning on forums. I would like to see a dyno graph of a tuned NA with rwkw and torque to compare to my graph. I don’t think that the results have been as good as anticipated at first, nothing like the Turbo anyway!
  11. $1000/month for a car!
  12. MMMM nice, bring one down to the Motorplex I think they run a 13.XX stock!
  13. Thanks XXXR6T, Not everyone has the same tastes in colour, but for me it's if it's loud it's good, the paint is pretty hard wearing on the plastics, we had a panel shop paint it for us so it's not a half arsed job. I suppose it's obvious I am a big fan... I have never seen the car before motorvation... do you get it out much or is it a bit of a show car? I saw the ute at the Ford v Expensive Daewoo show and I am pretty sure the car is from Kal.

    Dvd Recorders

My dad asked me the same question about 2 months ago! Basically if you want a DVD recorder with a HDD in it the cheapest we could find was $650 cash! Not sure how and what you want to use it for but if you want it to record TV shows to DVD etc? A better and cheaper solution it to get a capture/tunner card and DVD burner for your PC and a HDD dedicated to DVD recording if need be. This will also give you the ability to edit video easier and you can burn it to DVD or watch recoded shows back over from the HDD via your TV etc! Good luck!
  15. Steve, I am not 100% sure how the number of quires relates to the thread and forum at any particular time. But basically a query is a call to a database. This entire forum will be stored in a database (all the threads and replies etc). A query is a bunch gobbledygook (SQL) that calls the database and can update or retrieve info and return it back to this pretty interface (the forum you see). It’s a bit hard to explain! When you click on a thread title a query is sent to the database and it calls all the data for that thread and displays it on the screen. It’s a lot more complex then that but I hope you get the drift!
  16. Phuck, that is just rude! ..........I'll see if I can spot if from the top of the stands on Wed night! Only joking mate!
  17. Bit of a bad run Steve! Love your work mate!
  18. Why all the negative feedback guys?? I recon that the VS was a good car and still is if you can find one that has been looked after well. The VS SS and VS Clubsport with the 5 speed manual are a very nice car to drive. Plus as has been mentioned for a few 100 get yourself a twin catback and enjoy
  19. Sounds like you got yourself a good buy mate!! VS SS is a very nice car and the 5 speed makes it even more fun. Look after it and stay away from tree and power poles!
  20. That list is so stupid! The ban cars like a Turbo Diesel Ford Courier and the only 3cly Turbo Charade. HAHA
  21. Yes SL and SSL Kings are the way to go. $400 supplied and fitted with a wheel alignment! Can't go wrong there
  22. Its on Saturday and Sunday and it is pretty awesome. Its getting bigger and bigger every year! The supercruze is one of my fav events!
  23. If you are going to do injectors and pump later on then you might as well do them now! You will save yourself having to pay for another re-tune once new injectors and pump are fitted. If you keep your stock injectors then they are going to be pretty much maxed out at around 240-250rwkw, if that. With the combo that you have in mind you should be able to get a safer 260-270rwkw. Also bear in mind that your valve springs might not allow you to go this far. If I was you I would hold out for a bit longer and also consider a bigger cooler and valve springs. Not sure how much valve springs are but a bigger cooler like the one mentioned in the recent thread for $550 should do you good. Its bloody hot here in Perth If you get all of the above you will be pushing 300rwkw and your clutch and T5 will be in bits ............... it's never going to end hehehe
  24. The loom on the premium sound is different to the standard sound so there is not wiring in place to just buy the parts and plug then in. If you are going to go to the trouble of installing and amp and sub I would recommend that you go aftermarket. A lot of people with the prem sound have said that the factory sub is pretty crap! I also believe that the ford parts would an arm and a leg at the local spare parts! You can buy a small 2ch amp and a 10inch sub and build a small box for less $$$ and have better results. Only issue you are going to have is wiring that amp up. You will need to splice the signal to the read speakers and get a line-level converter and also run some power to your amp. I am not really sure where you can get a remote wire for the sub, but if you have your stereo on most of the time you are in the car you can just hook it up to you acc somewhere. Have a look at the following for one cheap and good solution! AMP SUB LINE CONVERTER
  25. Cheers for that Eugene! The coolers are getting cheaper, the edit is already cheaper and injectors have come down in price too! It is a lot cheaper to build a safe 280rwkw XR6T now then it was a year ago! Its looking very good
