I have driven a few rodeos and got them a little hot and they also have this feature. I only noticed it with the Alloytec motor though. -

Ahh well it looks like they are gonna get the quciker ford out of the two now. I think youll actually find its an alternator problem with the Xr8's They have tried to increase the idle to fix this problem and it looks like it hasnt worked
