No point following this if he has the c drive disabled, because there wont be any such option !! As I said b4, the repair option is only any good if your desperate for your programs to work for just a few days, so that you can get info backup or whateva. It will crash again in no time!! Best of with a fresh install. Theres a reason why it crashed and reinstalling windows over the top probly wont fix that problem. Anyway, It sounds like the HDD is screwed anyway, so wont make any diff what you try!!!! Only way to fix this problem next time is to have a ghost drive running all the time!! ( Raid) If the mother board has the option.
