Yeah... me too. Just trying to figure out whether or not a larger intercooler is going to help performance during the heat of day. Just to clarify, this is not to provide any additional maximum power gains (ie trying to push over 240kw) but rather to make that power available whether it's a cool evening or a warm day. You definitely hear the turbo spool but the BOV is plumback so you don't get the "whoosh" that you would if it vented straight to the atmosphere.

<sigh> If only I had the money. Trust me, my friends didn't spend much time complimenting the car before they started asking why I didn't get the REX DVD or sat nav. Definitely a good idea if you've got kids though - I don't have any of my own but three neices can certainly raise a racket and that would come in *very* handy. Can anyone tell me if the display is just in the two back seats or if it comes up on the front LCD too? I would think that would be a major safety hazard for the driver.

I'm with you DZ. I test drove the auto which made me want the manual. I was pretty unimpressed with it after having read all the reviews on how great it was. The box in my folks' Verada felt near as good. Bought the manual and I've been smiling ever since getting into the drivers seat.

Just curious, I've heard that the Barra240 was actually putting out 280kw but because the Boss260 was only putting out 260kw they used the exhaust and a few other bits and peices to cut back the power. I've been trying to find any articles that confirm this and thought you guys might be able to shed some light on this for me. Thanks

The Great Ocean Road idea was to be a long weekend thing I think, starting in Sydney, picking up some more in Canberra and then meeting the last few in Melbourne. BTW welcome to the forum! What have you got on order? Or are you one of the priveleged few to be driving their slick new ride?

Mine is the figure I paid. I went through Ford Insure because it was that much cheaper than the next mob. Can't remember the nearest quote but it was a hell of a lot more expensive.
