  1. Brendan, if its a striaght replacement, than its just a case of filing in a form at the pits and submitting it (think it needs to be the welshpool pits as they are the technical centre, might also be one technical centre up north too cant remember which) but fortunatley you dont have to show them any other mods you have. if its a bigger motor than what ever it is registered for, than its an issue (not always a huge issue depending on what your doing but may involve emissions testing which is rooted). you will need an engineer eventually (once they catch me lol 7.7L in place of a 5.0 haha) I`ve got a list somewhere in my office I`ll have a dig round for. Also,if this is the case and your going bigger motor into something than I`d say post it up on Antilag, peeps there are alot more in key with motor swaps than I imagine this joint would be. I`ll update once I find this list. regards Ross
  2. what power did it make on stright pump fuel??
  3. nice to see as a 21y.o your talking small steps. lol. nice work. I think you might have failed the sleeper side of things though with the a 3.5k stall and bonnet.
  4. I searched gazzanats boob, and google just returned the search:
  5. does it matter?? you`ll miss it either way
  6. cheers mikey, those vids are the first time I`ve actually heard it on gate from outside. it is addictive hey, pretty sure I`m down to about 60% hearing.
  7. adrian, I think your biggest fan of the day (apart from the photographer from "the Collie gazette" who asked for your signiture) was the commentator.
  8. adrian, did we get any footage of "nutter"'s burnout on the front straight? I hope so.
  9. I feel for you grug. anyway, vid from weekend, taken by KAL SPL. captured my worst skids for the weekend lol.
  10. you uploaded to youtube? if so on the right hand side there is an embed code, copy that, click on the "insert media" button when making a post in here and past the embed code in there. I think that's how its done
  11. cheers dude. adrian needs to hurry up with uploading vids.
  12. cheers for the heads up mat, been meaning to sign up to that joint.
  13. cheers mate, what a weekend. Antilag cruise friday night and a weekend of burnouts. completely opposite of what I was expecting for gazzanats, who would have thought we`d be having to source rims and tyres and have them brought down overnight to continue the festivities today. I`m blacker than the ace of spades so I will update once I`ve had chance to sort thru some pictures, but dam I`m glad you convinced me to enter.
  14. I call racist ^^^ shame about the 200km/h speed cut. want be catching any fg`s in a hurry. (240 )

    lol at barely driven, 134,000km.
  17. I`ve got a map which runs out to northam and toodyay, which was run for a small group back in august, a few km's but great roads.
  18. I`m after a sandwich plate to install between the oilfilter and the block so I can run oil temp and pressure gauges. so far I might as well smack my head against the wall as I`ve been told so many different things by different stores. like the fg 6t filter is the same as ba xr8 etc, which I have no clue whether that's right or not. only thing I could find on here is that there is a difference between ba-bf sandwich plates. please help.
  19. tocchi, ill give ya $100 for them sh*tty burnout rims you got on there. nice pics
  20. cheers mike, its got a glide to go in, just waiting on cross member to arrive. paint looks good from far but is far from good. lol. has a bit of rust etc that needs a bit of tlc but priority is go before show.
  21. this is where the motor used to reside
  22. mat, future goal is just to get it up and running again, been off the road now nearly 2 years. hopefully at the end of it the Q might be able to turn a tyre on wet grass.
  23. just thought I`d share a pic of whats been keeping me busy lately. big thanks to Adrian6T and esky for making it possible.
  24. I have brought 3 over in the last 12months, ended up flying and driving back with all of them, rather spend 1500 on flight and fuel than give it to some turkey transport company. cheapest option is if you can get it to adelide and stick it on the indian pacific train. edit: just had a look at website, what a jip, perth to adelide with car 349, adelaide to perth 669. if you cover my flight and fuel I`ll bring it back for you, can have it here by the end of the weekend
