that's exactly what I thought they would say, ( we want to fix it), the repairer has said we will fix it so they have booked one of their own assesors who they are friends with to asses it, he/she will have a look and adjust the quote and they will get the job which they will make 10k from. Same happened to me I waited 2 weeks for an assessor to come out, he was busy(apparently, Waiting for their friend), he agreed on the 12k damage and said to fix it to the repairer. I then took the car out of the panel beaters and asked for the damages to be payed to me of 12k, they only wanted to pay 8k cause they think it was my partly my fault, but that didn't say it in the Police report, screw them, they payed me out 12k got my car and sold it for 7k, it was a corrolla 04, and still got more than te agreed value that was on the car. I was like if you dont write it off I will, and I did. F@@k insurance company's there arseholes them and the panel beater. Take your car to another panle beater you know who will write it of straight away. My mate I sold it to said if you came to me I would of just sent a letter saying it is a write off and that would be the end. Its all up to the Repairer.......

other side is as normal as orthers I have seen, left side seems to be the back door aligned 1-2mm to the right to much.

As long as the doors align properly or to what looks near perfect I am happy. WHat you think from the picture?

Bonus's are only on the mark1 which has stopped production, so if I want a mark 2 with same options it would be couple of thousand more.

Do they fit the doors before they paint it at the factory? cause I know they come of at some stage of the production to get windows and door moulds fitted and then put back on, but there painted before that, so wont the screw get damaged then? Or is there some special spanner or something to put it on without damaging the bolts? They also have a lighting strike one there july build doors are aligned properly but the colour is not what I want. guess its the Bionic one from SYdney which they said has the panels aligned perfect from what they said.

Getting another one exact same colour from Sydney Aug build, they have to ship it down, but no leather.

Have seen a F6 that I want at the dealer its brand new, 19's leather, auto, steering wheel, but the left side of the cars where the Front door and back door meet the gap is bigger than the other side but other f6's I have seen are not like this, its noticlibly larger and the back door where it meets rear quater it is noticlibly smaller? Dealer says its not a BMW or Merc to have it perfect. What do I do? can this be adjusted??? ALso the bonnet has the same prob to much on one side. Is it worth paying the money for a brand new car with panels that arnt aligned properly?

Can the doors and bonnet on xr6t and f6 be adjusted to make the gap smaller? I have seen some and there not properly aligned, brand new cars? will the bolts be damaged then?(the paint on the bolts?) or is there another way?

F6 conrods and xr6 turbo condrod have same part numbers from May 2006 buiold onwards. Ring Ford and get the part numbers for a f6 conrod and xr6t conrod.
