The second image looks great. Looks like multiple images stack on each other for the final result.

Heres a quote from another forum which might explain the the rwkw figure. "That will be because guys with DD dynos will be running them in shoot 8f mode which adds about 50 rwkws"

Aperture is a function of the lense, so your aperture range will depend on the lense you are using. Have you come up with a way of lighting the cars yet?

I take it you mean the aperture? It should go higher than that. What lense are you using? An aperture setting around 10 is usually the sweet spot. What camera are you using?

When your using a tripod theres no need for your iso to be 800. The higher the iso the more noise(grainer looking) the picture will be. ISO should be 100-200. If you set the aperture around 10 then the image will be alot clearer(more of the pic will be in focus) also.

Can you tell us the shoot/camera settings info for each pic. Aperture settings dont look like they are what they should be. Are you sharpening the images?

Are you resetting your trip meter every time you fill up?

You need to at least sharpen all the images

Going on how much I was quoted for a trade in value of my fg xr6t maybe he payed to much. I wanted to trade my 2008 fg xr6t on a new patrol and they would only give me $20000 and that was from 2 dealers. There is something seriously wrong when you pay over $58000 for a new car and in less than 2 years its value is only $20000

I have had my one pulled apart to fit a uhf radio. Once I removed the sunvisors I pulled down on the front of the head lining just enough to use a mirror to see where the screws were located. I was then able to stick my hand in there and used a stubbie screw driver to remove the screws. Dave

I have the same annoying wind noise. Will have to try the tape and see what that does

I used to own a 2005 f250 7.3 turbo diesel auto which did the same thing. I didnt realise what it was at first because it seems some what wierd when engine revs are droping but the speed is increasing. When the torque convertor is slipping it is generating heat. I did a lot of towing with the f250 and guess what happen...fried the auto! Luckily it was fixed under warranty. I did find a fix on another forum it which I could manual lock the convertor. This worked well but the only problem was that you had to remember to turn it off when you stopped or it would stall the engine. I will have to pay more attention to my fg next time I drive it but I have not noticed it doing it.

My fg drivers seat squeaks also, it is the leather seat rubbing on the centre console

You might also have a problem with the motor. Most times turbo seals only leak because of piston/ring blowby in the motor. Get them to do a compression check on the motor.

Just phoned two tyreplus stores for prices on 245/35/19 Michelin Pilot Preceda pp2 tyres $680ea and $600ea So wont be getting them!

The oil leak on my fg wasn't much, it didnt drip on the ground. I only noticed it when I had it up on my car ramps. It was supposedly fixed last week but I haven't been under it to check if it is still leaking yet. Wife was told that the car had to back in again as there is a recall for something else.

I'm putting it down to all the towing I do. As I said all tyres had 40psi (cold) in them but it was only the rears that were worn. On a trip I just did towing the trailer again, I had a cold inflation pressure of 34psi in the rears and when I stopped to get fuel checked the pressure in the rears and they were at 40psi.

Just did a trip of about 3000k's and was surprised how much the air temp changed the fuel economy. Towing a dual axle stock trailer fuel usage was in the 17l/100k's with air temp up to about low 20c. As temp rose up to 35c fuel economy blew out to 22l/100k's

As far as I know all tyres have wear lugs. If you look inbetween the tread every so often you will see a raised section of a couple of mm's. I should have said that the car also has the 19inch wheels. 40psi is the ford recommended pressure. I will try and take some pics tonight. We will be towing the trailer again for the next three days clocking up about 3000k's so will check pressures to see if the tyres are getting hotter whilst towing.

Hows everyone else going for tyre wear on their FG's? 16000k's and the rear tyres are down to the wear lugs. Its only in the middle of the rear tyres. Running 40psi and have had the tyres rotated. No burnouts and the wife drives the car daily to work and back. Have done some towing of dual axle stock trailer.

My FG's oil leak didn't get fixed yesterday. They now require the car for 2 days so will get fixed in a week or 2

My FG is getting this very oil leak fixed today. My wife took the car in so I haven't actually spoke to them about where the oil leak was coming from. It went in for its 15k service a couple of weeks ago and I asked them to find out where the oil was coming from so it could be fixed. It doesn't leak that much, no drips on the garage floor.
