  1. Thanks for night guys, I enjoyed the night quite abit! Brendan get stuffed you bastard, it your fault I flashed to say tom was gone! lol doesn't matter like brendan said sorry Tom!! Veva hope you didn't mind we tagged along, It was good drive down that back way. I got to say I had a lot fun. I was trying to keep it straight to lol, I was having fun not letting it Kroozin and I might do mac pass soon hopefully, I'll ask him but anyone interested to tag along if we do?

  5. They were installed by licensed mechanic which use to work for pedders, so I can't really say how it was sapost to install it because I didn't read instructions. Reason why I didn't install it so they could sort camber and toe and etc because they have all the right tools to Make it easy.

  7. I'm going to use 10mm plate, m10 bolts again so I don't have to redesign the shims. I'm going to tap the plate and thread 12.8 strength bolts through it with lock tight. That will replace there design of the plate with bolts pressed into it. I will post photo once finished. I think by the time I finish it will be over kill! I put the photo up again so you if you dont understand the part I'm talking about!!

  9. Like to warn some people on the pedders camber kit. Today I did a motokarna with Nsw como club. I was having a great day until I come to the s bend and I heard a clunk and loss of steering in matter of seconds. We got the car off the track. Pulled wheel of and lovely upper control arm, on the right side of the wish bone bolt had ripped through the chassis. The bolt design which they have put together broke. What they have is bolts going through a Peice metal which is in fixed position. so they dont have to have a spanner on The inside. anways it broke poor design. If anyone has camber kit I would look at redesigning the way it holds the upper control arm. I've been lucky enough to walk away with few broken bolts and missing camber shimms.

Any who have you ford boys sorted diff issues out because everyone I know has diff issue because the fill point is to low on the sump. so you throw extra fluid in the diff on top by jacking the rear of the car up and filling it up abit more this stop wearing out axle bearings. Which was cant be fixed problem. I have been over filling mine by little bit and has fixed the problem. Now back to the story, If forum member has got car to run besides only to have one gear Working. It proves the fact can be done but you have make few adjustments. If I go by my experience of my car being programmed with a Fpv base tune then tuned by a tuner. So I can believe its possible maybe was little more in depth for some people to work out. Like I said before I have heard of being done and I'm going to leave it at that. It's not worth having massive fight over it. If your saying cant be done might possibly your right but I'm not going to leave it out as a possible thing I'm going to find out little more about the g6e then I make my mind up from there

  13. mate there is no difference. yes I can agree with possibly injectors and turbo. I was told the same thing with the ford territory brakes wont fit a fg sedan or ute or anything but territory. I have put territory brakes on ba to f6 sedan utes on few occasions. I have installed a head unit from a fpv to ford and just changing the bem. ( basic single zone to single colour)
  14. well each to there own. do you really think ford would go out of there way to make a complete new pcm for a f6 then a xr6 turbo. no they wouldnt the funds wouldnt be worth it. ok maybe a na, lpg, v8 and turbo yea I know that's true. trust me its possible. basicallly your saying like people once said once before ford pcm cant be cracked and tuned with the original pcm. well now we have few brands which now make software to tune ba to fg. if your in the know how you can do it put it to you that way. ford will not let you know that. its just a computer. its like putting vista to windows 7 its just abit of ...cking around. so I apologies to you I beleive you been lied to and miss informed. as I said once before anything is possible but if they are caught ford will crucify the person who updates the software to that or whatever. I have heard of people getting around it look yes I thought it was strange to but I have faith in it is possible seeing that pcm has been cracked once before, and well what so different between ford to fpv because my cross breed ford seems to work fine with a fpv abs pump and ba pcm and etc
  15. I have seen an fg g6e turbo been loaded with an f6 tune in it and there is no issues with brakes and no oil lights nothing. I have driven the car myself and for a stocka I was surprised it was quick for what it was. there is away around it but no one whats to speak of it because ford will crucify the person who does it. basically as far as I know you need a ford id and then you can mess with sh...t! so yes its possible and yes there is a way to remove the faults but you need to suck up to ford dealer or something along the lines. as far as I know alot of the pcms are the same (I believe they are the same in all of them besides ba bf fg have a better hardware as they go along.) or able to deal with software changes such as fg xr to fg fpv. im no ford expert but I have heard of ways around it besides using an excal or some other tuning brand. but without the excal or whatever brand you choose you wont be able to custom tunes with out the excal or whatever brand you choose
  16. I would say cat, if makes a rattle or funny exhaust noise near the front def the cat, if its like a pulsing feeling under acceleration either fuel or spark. Spark tends to be issue ford have crap coil packs and don't buy vdo replacements learnt the hard way, Just for general maintance when the engines cold, tighten all exhaust manifold bolts every 15 to 20000kms if you drive it hard, 20 to 40 k if you drive it like a granny! Check the 4 turbo bolts and also dump pipe bolts. If you wanna check for spark issues or to help find out if there something wrong I believe looking at the spark plugs it tells you if you rich, lean, or have a dead coil if its none of the above something stupied like a cat. Or freak issue which is rare as f...k! Wrong size fuse which holds just enough to make fuel to start the car and cruise but then give out on you when you gun it. Happened once and I was pulling my hair out because I was looking at all major issue not thinking about simple, but that was a surge tank fuse. 15 amp on Bosch 044 melted it but was in a bad spot inside battery box under a ute tray near exhaust. Done by a previous tunner not the greatest idea

  19. Make sure colour Is pretty good match from passager to drivers or surrounding area can do this in bright sun light with bonnet up to see if colour shines back, check to see if its shiney or not on opposite side and etc depends how far you want to push it from there
  20. PVC hose started to come off also doesn't help noticed got race pads which were sapost to be heavy duty so I have to get them hot before they start to work. Seem fine since I mucked around with few things.

Easiest way to prove it while car Is switched off just for safety disconnect cables each side then remove the induction system off the throttle body if its still factory setup should just get away with removing cross over. Push top throttle body see if it back if it doesn't seeing your this far take someone else to either if in Sydney pick and payless, Mccarthur ford wreckers at smuggle grange and etc or at least get price from mcarthur they aren't normally the cheapest and they normally have everything
