Won't Boost Past 4000 Rpm

Hey guys,

Quick question which has probably been answered but couldn't find it on here..

I have a BA MKII 2005 XR6T and my car will not boost past 4000 rpm. it is all fine up until the 4000 mark then it just dies. If I keep my foot down it just stays at the 4000 mark and wont go higher.

Boost still reaches 14psi before cutting out.

Any info would be appreciated.
