yep there are the same over here in wa more interested in wallet flush additives that ford dosnt recomend (as per the log book ) ive worked in dealerships and the service advisors earn a fortune on the wallet flush conponent of the servicing (usually getting $10-$25 per up sell ie auto flush and injector service etc also get about 1% of total labour sold over the month so sometimes leaving legit work aside to sell the sh*t ) IE front brake package $280 inc parts and skim so labour conponent 1.5hours @ $105per hour =$1.05commision or sell a auto trans flush at $350 and get $25 commission . nothing wrong with making a profit or commision but surely people are waking up to this crap

id check with an accountant as I sold a block over 10years ago and lossed 15k on it when I sold it ,but recently sold a block that I made a fair bit on and was about to use the loss to counter the gain made paying a 300buck accountant bill easier to cop but yes you gota sell it and make the loss to claim it
