Yeah I did call mate, it all sounds too hard.. the XR grille sits sort of over the bumper, where the FPV one sits behind. The XR one sitting behind would leave some holes exposed, and would not look great imo. I pretty much left it at that..

Im currently waiting on all my audio gear to arrive from overseas. I asked for advice about a year ago, and still had the same system in mind. I ended up getting: Alpine cde-102e Alpine MRP-F300 Alpine SWS-1223D Focal 570CA1 (I took Smickys advice with these and purchased from Northfield locally, thanks mate) Now I have gotten quotes (including all cabling) from JB HIFI $480 Northfield $450 And called 6 auto electricians and none of them will do it.. Does this sound like a fair price for the install? I though they were both a bit steep. If anyone here can do it for less in Brisbane pm me, or if you know of another good place thatll do it, let me know, otherwise ill more than likely go with Northfield.

It amazes me that some bands can brings out a couple of really piss poor albums, and just when you think the band has gone completely down the sh!tter they come back with an absolute ripper. Some for me that did this lately: Kataklysm: Heavens Venom Napalm Death: Time Waits For No Slave Soilwork: The Panic Broadcast (This one really took me by surprise, its not as heavy as the stuff I usually listen to, but its been played more times than anything else in my collection lately.)

I did think about this but in the end I though the round silver centrecap wouldnt have looked any good since it mightve stood out too much. Ive got some brushed aluminum XR centrecap badges in the post and will be repainting them with hobby paint and brush.

Mine has pretty much always done this at startup, dissapears within 5 mins I dont worry about it

True - toxic with black rims has always been a favourite of mine

Yeah masked up the tyres and the inside back of the rim and sprayed with the caps still in.

Had my rims sprayed Satin Black on the weekend.. Let me know what you think. Not bad for for $50 worth of paint and prep materials and a home job.

No problem at all, turned out ok for iphone pics, though the glare got in the way alot..

Went for a look at the car show today and was very impressed with the calibre of vehicles on display! Highlight for me was the gold Landau and the lowlights were definately that Monaro cross Nissan cross BA Falcon and the Bluebird Convertible..

Thanks guys! Im almost set on the roland. Yamaha has 1 extra input and the Roland has 2. 50 kits for the Yamaha and 25 for the Roland. I really only want the acoustic sound anyhow for the type I music ill be playing (metal) So are you saying you dont use an extra pedal for double kick? Do you just set the highhat pedal to do it? Sorry but im clueless to these electric kits..

Hi all Tossing up between these two drum machines and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on which would be the pick of the bunch. Both are the same price. I will be wanting to add a double kick and an extra cymbal or two at some point so not sure if I can do this either..
